The French lost on purpose. They could now not answer the call to fight for Vichy France. The fleet was now also useless to the Germans. The failed fuses were an excuse.

Can you do a video of the U.S.S. Emmons?

The Captain of U.S.S. Franklin was to close to Okinawa and blamed the crew not him of the bomb attack. He should never of been in command of a carrier. Great video!

They were technically German ships. France built them but Germany commandeered them after they effortlessly steamrolled the French.

The report of that many battleships, set he headquarters of the Japanese navy on its hindquarters. The repairing of the battleships was nothing short of amazing. Had a uncle in that endeavor.

World of Warships has it backwards. Crossing the T presents a huge broadside target to the enemy, usually ending in its destruction. The difference is that the game is usually 1 on 1 encounters, whereas in reality it’s multiple ships along the top of the T simultaneously firing at the single ship in the lead position of the approaching line.

'Caliber' on naval guns make no sense to me. You can have a 13" 35 caliber and a 12" 50 caliber. Doesn't compute for me.

because when France fell, two sides emerged - the free French gov't which was in exile and the Vichy French gov't which was a puppet gov't of the Germans. The French ships at Casablanca were under Vichy French/German control.
