does anyone know how can i pair baofeng bf-t3 my kids have with a baofeng bf-h7. i can't find the correct frequences
@OnTheMicwithMike19 сағат бұрын
If within the UK, the BF-T3 should be 8 channels 1-8 on the PMR 446 frequencies. You just need the first 8 channels programmed into the BF-H7. But however, the BF-H7 isn't legal to use on 446MHz in the UK due to its power output and removable antenna.

My question is how to upload my pre programmed Bao Feng frequencies and then transfer them to a new TYT HT-7800 I received in a raffle.... I was able to upload to the Chirp but then when trying to transfer those to the TYT radio the 'radio' is greyed out showing Bao Feng and I cannot change to the TYT HT 7800.... There's gotta be a way though.....I haven't figured that out....

I have the next generation Tidradio H8. When I try to upload my frequency list I get this error message > unable to upload file. This is a radio- independant file and can not be uploaded directly to a radio. open a radio image (or download one from a radio) And then copy/paste items from this tap into that one in order to up load. HuH? what radio image? where do I get it from this H8? I am connected to the radio via a tidradio cable. the radio is selected in chirp. all looks good except for this error. Please help. Thankyou
@OnTheMicwithMikeАй бұрын
Doesn't sound like it's compatible, it may even be the driver not communicating with the computer correctly too. Have you tried Tidradio's own programming software?
@willwaconsya3433Ай бұрын
@@OnTheMicwithMike I tried the odmaster and it does not give me a full spreadsheet. You have to step through each channel and type in what you want. just as slow as manual programming. I am thinking to purchase the Rtsystems software. expensive but the only alternative. Thanks for the speedy reply.

These radios have only got a small coil antenna in the tubing I cut the tubing down and it is now just over an inch and I recapped the top of tubing.
@OnTheMicwithMikeАй бұрын
Messing with the length of the antenna will change the SWR of the set. Potentially damaging it.

Hello, I've long since sold this radio. I wasn't a big fan of it to be honest, due to the countless menu items to do simple things. I sold it on in 2020. I wouldn't mind a G90 myself but can't bring myself to part with the X6100 to make way for one yet :) all the best and 73'
