Hey Matt, love the channel! I have a question I’m hoping you can answer. I recently picked up a used G0609X. So far I’m loving it but I was wondering: do you get the clunking noise when it’s shutting down right after the centrifugal switch clicks back into the circuit?

You are so competent, informative, interesting and entertaining. I can't et anything done, I can' help myself because I can't stop watching your videos. Where are you based?

Was the arborist able to save any of the tree DNA? That would be awesome if they cloned it.

I don’t mind it getting cut down; but please tell me that beautiful wood at least went to a mill/used at all. Hopefully it wasn’t just pushed into a valley and lit on fire.

Was this after the derecho? I live in Cedar Rapids and my neighbors massive tree destroyed my garage. Thankfully insurance screwed me over and didn’t pay out enough to rebuild

All that sawdust is a great resource for for growing mushrooms, turn waste into food. We get sawdust from a nearby flooring mill for our mushroom blocks.

It's not straight off the beach, it's straight off the glacier. What you have there is 22 acres of glacial moraine, which is a rather pretty geological term for what the glacier chewed up and left behind.

+1 for the knock down roubo slab bench, in mid process of building it now, only snags I have found is cleaning up mortises with a 2" router bit because I do not want to hand chisel to clean it up and don't have a mortiser to do it and finding the big bolts for holding the long rails to the leg assembly. Had to buy a big pack of them from Amazon due to no local suppliers having any
