I do agree with his point, but for different reasons. No, the U.S. is not going to nuke its own soil, and yes it will be a geurilla war. However, heres the catch; The whole point of geurilla warfare in the first place is not to outright defeat the larger army; it is to make the cost of fighting exceed the value of winning. This worked in places like Vietnam or Afghanistan, where the U.S. had barely anything to gain or lose anyways in the grand scheme of things. What do they have to lose in a home fought war however? At least half the country. So, the gov't will definitely be a lot more motivated to fight longer, and it will result in HORRIBLE casualties for both sides.
