You two are amazingly resilient....You took on an enormous challenge and have delt with all the many difficult issues along the way and found ways to move forward and fulfill your passions and dreams....Kudos to you both! Can't wait to see more of your wonderful and inspiring videos....(I'm an old 'fixer-upper' but have never confronted the issues your have solved.)

Mashallah. Seeing a pretty family under a pretty house is such a God's privelege. In Islam, when we harvest fruits or others, we are asked to keep a portion of it for the beasts, as to share a blessing. I am very moved by this video and really enjoyed it !

This is astounding and incredibly inspiring! I’ve seen a couple more of videos from the channel and it may be covered but I’m curious how a monthly income was made whilst all the renovation was being made…myself and my partner are considering this kind of venture but without a monthly income I just can’t see how we can make a similar venture work. I wonder if people doing these projects use savings for a couple of year or do online remote work for example…in the case of the former as I’m aware and unless I’m mistaken the French authorities won’t allow that…unless they see a monthly income in which they feel you won’t be a burden to the state they won’t issue a residency visa…but maybe I’m mistaken?

Thank you. I'll put it simply. You can't do it. Unless you are super rich/retired. We tried many different income streams and it's impossible with the bureaucracy and form filling for every attempt to create something from the ground up. We have not made a proper video in six months because it's not viable. If you see anyone on KZfaq that's a Brit or yank swanning around France making films with endlessly deep pockets. They have a lot of savings in a French bank, therefore you can do whatever you want. We now work regular jobs like you online but luckily at home. Good luck.

Bonne continuation.😀

Wow, I think that this is my favourite video to date. Gorgeous pumpkins, the two cutest kids, the hens, the violins, and both your amazing talents, it just blew my mind. What a combination! Both the pottery and the weaving (?) are beautiful, and the glazing is just my cup of tea. I´d even give house room to your ´failures´ lol. I am so looking forward to seeing your progress in the house and garden too, and those two little munchkins living the best life. ❤

Oh that sinking currency feeling hits home all too personally! I was buying a house in Finland when Brexit slapped us all in the face with a wet fish - when your multiplier is 150000, the exchange rate being 1.15 rather than 1.39 makes one hell of a difference! Brexit is why I am stuck in a rotting England because the uncertainty of it all made sellers and their lawyers very nervous about doing property deals with British folk. But now things have settled into the horrible state they have ... but they have *settled* and now, because Finland is just saying "No"" to absolutely everyone, I am thinking that my dreamy thoughts about France might be about to solidify into a real course of action. Oh and I have to say, it is not often when you watch a KZfaq vid you spend half your time smiling because you like and identify with the 'presenters' :D
