super old cards. in 2015 i decided to change my HD6770 to r9 380 3GB after playing witcher 3 which required more than 1GB vram. my HD6770 is still alive but barely can run anything new, but can play old games at least

Those two arent comparable. 7770 is 100 watt graphic and 560ti is 150 and more. You need to compare 550ti vs 7770 bcz 550ti is 100watt... here radeon wins i think

Thank you for this great video. I scored a Vapor-X last June for $40 and its been a workhorse. It sounds i should OC but i can't afford to replace it. I was wondering if you updated the bios and if so what you used. I have been playing at 3440 x 1440 and the performance varies from marginal to optimal. I believe it supports DX12, HDR and advanced settings. It also display port out which is required for the ultrawide freesync monitor I use. I kind of want to replace the thermal paste too. I found this looking for specific Sapphire Vapor-x tips on more recent bios, possible hardware mods or setting to safely boost performance. Suggestions? I think this gpu has a lot of life left in it.

I have two of the 4 GB GTX 670 and don't have any issues on anything I've pushed at them. They work well enough for what I need and I can overclock them if I desire.

Based on this, and without further OC, the Q6600 & socket 775 were hanging on until about 2015 in gaming ability. After that, Nehalem and beyond, for whatever deals you could get, were the way forward.

The best part of this card is it’s price to performance. I’d wager that even today (late 2019), you’d be hard pressed to find another card that offers a better frame-per-dollar value. I picked up one for my 2nd system for dirt cheap and it works well. It’s biggest competition would be the Radeon 7950, which has probably aged better, but tends to cost a bit more.

Going Strong, comboing it with an i5 6600k 3.30 ghz CPU and bascially everygame is atleast 60 fps with decent settings

Turning up the settings on csgo might yield more FPS. I had a similar problem with it before where I turned up the graphics settings and nearly doubled the FPS

Just share my experience. Bought a used card some years ago. Only used it for 2 week or so. It started to give me temporally black screens and blue screens/hardware failure.

I guess that the good performance is also thanks to the code of the games/drivers/libraries that are able to fully use the hw of 670gtx

Wow what an awesome video! My son has a 7870 for his pc which is mainly for Fortnite. Cost around 35 pounds. But only Nvidia do auto highlights so found a 670 for 30 pounds on guntree and wondeting whether to get it or not. His birthdsy not til November so might be more options by then but tempted! Thanks

just found a 560 ti out the scrap bin i use it in waiting of a water pump to get my water loop back i must say it is a cool little video card 60 fps in bf3 high setting wasn`t expecting this ! just to say this gpu only have 1 gb of vram
