I really want Dick Grayson in the Sequel, He doesn't have to be Robin in the second movie but I really need to see him.

1) More interaction between Bruce and Alfred, including a training/spar session. 2) More of Bruce Wayne the burgeoning philanthropist in the midst of the Gotham rebuild post-flood, having rebuilt and remodeled the orphanage and Wayne Tower. Now less of a recluse, he's more involved with Wayne Enterprises and at least cheekily flirtatious with women. 3) More of Jeffrey Wright's Gordon being actively involved in police action at GCPD HQ *and* on the streets while on the main case. 4) Introducing Harvey Dent and his origins growing up with and as Bruce's schoolmate. 5) More of Batman's fighting skill on display, including more diverse styles. 6) Actual "bat wings" as part of the new batsuit for when he takes flight, including a cool reveal scene. 7) More new bat gadgets at his disposal. Improved grapple gun and taser. 8) A new and "improved" Batmobile 9) The return of Selina, now full on Catwoman, as a Batman rival, *with* a fight/chase scene. 10) Batman the detective, now ever smarter, solving the main case and defeating the main villain after actually squaring off with them. I want to see Dick Grayson. Don't care, if he'd just be an orphaned acrobat or starting as Robin, but I want to have the relationship between him and Bruce. And also Alfred, who would have a second chance of raising someone, maybe hoping it doesn't end in costumes. Plus a scene at the end, where masked people have a conversation "Where is the Gray Son?" "The Wayne got him before we could" "We have to fix that" - that way, in Batman 3, Bruce could have both general (stopping corruption) and private (saving his son) reasons for fighting with Court of Owls

I’d love to see Matt reeves focus more on batman/Bruce Wayne’s mental. Seeing him get pushed to his limits, where we see things getting worse before they get better. I’m hoping for a dark and brutal sequel. Keep up the good work bobba🦇

I feel like Matt Reeves should pull from lesser known comic books to add more mystery to the story because the Nolan Trilogy and The Reeves Batman both pull from fairly known and sometimes core comic books from the batman mythos. I just want to see something unexpected and new, a superhero story with new twists and turns and with the freedom Reeves has he could do it

@Boba, here are some of my thoughts: For villains, I agree that I'd like to see a main villain that Batman can try to be more empathetic with and who can share a few action combat scenes with the Dark Knight. Particularly: 1. Mr. Freeze. He has a fancy tech suit, is smart enough to be a challenge, and has the tragic motivation of saving his wife to be able to save her at any cost, much how Bruce started his crusade because of his parents. Also, if they follow TellTale, they could make Freeze more combative by giving him the freeze gauntlets instead of the freeze gun, because then he'd have to get close enough to perform hand-to-hand combat to freeze Batman. 2. Man-Bat. Another man who was trying to benefit the world with his experimentation with bats. Due to his tragic condition, he could easily be sympathized with and Batman would even be willing to help cure him. On top of this, it would give a great horror aspect to the movie, be an interesting mystery that Batman will have to solve because there could be rumors about a vampire that kills people in Gotham, AND it would dive into the more fantastical elements of the Batman. 3. Ra's al Ghul. Yes, I know we've seen him in the Dark Knight trilogy, but I have to say out of all of Batman's villains and especially after seeing Ra's in Batman Begins (my personal favorite interpretation of the character), I love this villain the most. Out of all of Batman's villains, even the Joker, Ra's is my favorite, so I may be a bit biased here. However, this could be someone who could have trained Bruce in the past, is capable of beating him physically, has proven to be a match intellectually, AND is sort of an anti-villain because he has morals and ultimately does what he does because he thinks the world will be the better for it. Additionally, this could introduce Talia al Ghul who could provide an alternate love interest, especially if Catwoman happens to be absent in the next film. And it could add a bit of fantastical mysticism with the introduction of the Lazarus Pits. 4. The Phantasm. Okay, is smart enough to evade Batman, has competed with him in combat in the animated movie, has a very similar viewpoint but is willing to kill unlike Batman, is a fan-favorite character for many people, is someone Bruce can easily sympathize with AND has the added benefit to be a romantic interest that competes with Selina. Is this a great option, or is this a great option? Another villain, who I guess could be more of a side villain, would be Deacon Blackfire. He's a cult leader that could be quite popular in Gotham, especially since the city is practically a wasteland after the events of the first movie. This guy was also capable of psychologically breaking the Batman, which could maybe only be compared with Bane physically breaking the Batman. Just a thought. For Bruce Wayne becoming more active, I totally agree. I don't think he'll be a playboy, but rather more businesslike, similar to TellTale. Batman is an introvert, probably an INTJ, and isn't a big fan on socializing unless it's with people he generally likes/trusts, which is generally a small amount of people (Alfred, Gordon, Selina). It's generally not our style (I'm an INTJ too), to be super flirtatious, unless we WANT to. In which case, if he needs to be to get intel, they need to wait until the third movie to do so, and we'll need build-up to it. He'll need to read books on psychology, human body language/behavior, and analyze the people he plans to seduce, as it goes well for Batman's mannerisms and just being an INTJ in general. I also just wanted to mention, while I generally prefer Batman to throw his batarangs, I'd be fine with the slingshot contraption. If you think about it, it'd be a nice easter egg for Batman Beyond because he had batarangs that he could fire from his wrists too. I also would be fine if they kept his suit the same too, not that I'm opposed to suit upgrades, but I like this one and REALLY dig the leather aspect to it. Maybe in your next Batman breakdown, you can give your thoughts on how well you think the villains I suggested would work for Batman. Also, here's two questions for your next Batman breakdown: 1. For the final Batman movie, (let's just assume there'll be a trilogy), what do you think of the final upgraded version of the Batmobile looking like the Batmobile from Batman Noel and Batman Damned by Lee Bermejo? I think it's a perfect example of an armored muscle car and find Pattinson's batsuit to be very similar to the suit of Batman in those comics. 2. If Robin were to be incorporated within Reeves' Batverse, would you want this version of Dick Grayson to start off as angry as similar to Bruce and then when he brings Zucco to justice, mellow out a bit and be more friendly, before coming a bit more vengeful, kind of similar to the arc of Robin from Titans? Or, would you prefer a more Young Justice approach where he starts off as a bright light in Bruce's life, joyful and cracking jokes/making up new words (like "aster" "whelmed" etc.) and then become a bit more jaded/serious when he becomes Nightwing?? Love your videos man, especially regarding the Batverse. Keep up the awesome work!

Would like to see Batman start to master the whole flying thing in the second one. He clearly still had qualms about throwing himself off rooftops in the first one. Maybe he's practiced sticking a landing now, and dumped the wingsuit for a winged cape. And with Gotham's streets still potentially flooded, it would make sense for him to take to the rooftops and be less street level

I don’t think we should have expectations going into the Batman 2. The greatest thing about the first movie was that not many people really cared about it so no one had any expectations(until the trailer dropped).

This is my top 10 of what i would like to see in the second batman (not in order) #thegothamproject 1. More Arkham Asylum scenes and references 2. Harvey Dent 3. more gadgets (mainley the fly suit, and use of smoke bombs) 4. more Gordon, and his life 5. professor pig or mad hatter 6. some references and suspicions on the court of owls (but not a part of the main plot) 7. a more sociale Bruce Wayne and him handeling the flood. 8. Alfred and Bruce bonding 9. more action (but batman making use of stealth) 10. it may be stretching a little, but i would also love to see killer croc or soloman grundy

Boba, have u listened to reeves’ director commentary track? It was so amazing, he literally explained everything in the movie. It would be great if u could do a episode abut it, haha. These aren't 100% needs, just things I wouldn't mind seeing in no particular order: 1. A villain or side-villain who is a physical threat (Killer Croc or Mr. Freeze would work well) 2. Introduce the idea of metahumans to some capacity (bit of a lead on from 1.) 3. More of Bruce and Alfred 4. Very little to no Joker 5. More of Arkham (even simply an exterior shot, maybe hints at other rogues in Arkham) 5. Bruce becoming more of a public figure in Gotham 6. Exploration of how Batman functions as hopeful whilst still combating crime 7. Evolution in Batman's technology 8. Keep with multiple villains (1 major villain, then 1 or 2 that are suspects/brief obstacles) 9. More new locations 10. Costumed criminals as a more common occurrence in the wake of the Riddler (picture a similar opening to that of the first film but we see guys dressed as C/D- list batman rogues getting arrested by police, could be a fun reimagining of the idea)

All I want for a sequel is a good version of Dick Grayson. Every other superhero is getting their young sidekick now so the best sidekick in comics and DCs best character deserves to be in the film. I don't think I'm asking for too much.

It may not be foreshadowing, but when Bruce said he never wanted to feel fear like the night his parents died, makes me hopeful for a scarecrow appearance. I'd love to see Reeve's version of the Scarecrow. Then we could get him, riddler and Joker all in the third film

You nailed mostly everything that I would say. I would say that I would love for them to not replicate what Batman learned from the first film to the sequel. Like, the first film Batman learned how to be a hero or what it takes to be a hero. IMO the problem with MCU Spiderman and MCU Thor is that they seemed to learn the same lesson throughout their films.

Hey nice video! These new The Batman movies have so much potential it’s fun thinking about it. I’ve noticed there is/could be a theme with the seasons in these movies! The first one was on halloween. I think the second one can be on christmas revolving mr freeze wanting to give his wife the gift of life back (side (anti)villains: croc, penguin, intro to harvey dent) then there could be a Catwoman 1 movie for valentine’s day involving batman appearing in it similar to how she appeared in the first The Batman movie as a support character (who knows maybe catwoman signals for backup in bloodhaven when poison ivy is too much of a foe for her alone but ivy hypnotises batman and makes him a part of her plans before they team up together for real). Then I also really liked when you mentioned how the canon tv shows (such as penguin and arkham) could draw connections to villains into the movies preparing an interesting rogues gallery, so perhaps a third movie might be based on Easter ready to take inspiration from the knightfall comic, focusing on the rise of batman into his true potential, or the start of, because I’d like to see a 4th movie with the bat family 😊

He could even have the white eyes just for detective mode like you said with the heat signatures through the smoke screen. Like the Arkham games when batman goes into detective mode his eyes turn fully white.

It’s just a rumor I’ve heard thrown around but IF that’s the case I would like to see the next two movies focus on Harvey just being the DA and developing a relationship with Bruce and with Batman and at the very end of the third movie turn him into two face, give the entire fourth movie to him and have Batman really struggle fighting his bestfriend and the white knight of Gotham and have him fail, then in the fifth movie they could take a page from long Halloween (again lol) and have two face bring together all the villains of the first three movies in a big plot, idk what. Kind of curious to see if they use the penguin series to set him up as the big bad for the next movie, not sure on the timeline it’s Just a thought. I honestly don’t care who they pick as a villain as long as it isn’t Joker again.

It would be cool if dent teaches bruce in some ways how to be more social and be more of a friendly figure. This could allude to Harvey having a different side of his own that he has to hide (bruce doesn’t know too much about Harvey’s other side very well until towards the end of the movie). 6. Bruce works on an upgrade to his suit that lowers protection against bullets but makes him faster and more agile. 5. Mr. Freeze is the main “villain” for most of the movie but it turns out the company he worked for (which was responsible for his tragic accident) are holding his chryogenically frozen wife secretly and his motivation is to get revenge and his wife back. 4. Killer croc is a side villain (more on the supernatural side of genetic disorders) possibly serves a bigger message into diseases being an issue (joker, freeze’s wife, etc.). 3. Joker has multiple scenes throughout the movie and there’s a slow buildup of why Bruce might on some level fear him. I think a fun idea is if joker was born in Arkham and therefore he sees it less as a prison and more as his home. I think seeing him proclaim himself as the joker in an end credit scene and being the main villain in the 3rd movie would be cool. 2. Bruce moves back into Wayne manor (possibly discovers this world’s version of the bat cave?). I think it would at least be fun to have the traditional manor back since it’s currently being used by druggies. 1. Black mask is introduced and there is a side story where penguin and black mask are at war with each other in Gotham and Harvey gets in the middle of it which ultimately leads to an accident in the Sionis steel mill and the movie leaves off with a pre look at two-face.

I don’t think Robin is as unrealistic as you think it is. I think a suited up, ready to go Robin is, but not Bruce adopting one of his children. I also think Robin will actually be 13, not a aged down 20 year old. Pattinson himself still looks like a teenager. The Penguin is probably going to be the villain after becoming the top crime lord in Gotham after his own show. In the absence of Falcone, Penguin will probably throw the acid on Dent’s face. Jason Todd’s father was killed by the Penguin for betraying him to two-face. My guess is this happens in the show, and we see the boy who becomes Robin. Then less time will have to be spent introducing robin in Batman 2

#TheGothamProject Finally subscribed as well. I've got a bit of a crush, actually. I'm going to ponder my top 10. For now: 1- Batman wants to live now, to some degree. I want him to be bested physically (something more serious/long-term than the double-barrel incident) and Bruce to be bested mentally. I want to see terror and tailspin...and how he continues to develop tech, finesse and stealth in response. No one talks about how this is the first truly sympathetic Batman. More vulnerability, please. Your top 10 made me imagine these: Gordon/Barbara: Barbara is young and Gordon has to deal with her getting into a fight at school because kids are being cruel about her daddy being "friends with the Batman." Alfred/Training: I haven't heard a single person speak about the fact that Bruce Wayne showed up to that funeral with a black eye. I can't decide if it was from his fight at the club or...from training with Alfred. 😉 Alfred also had a cut above his eye in the film. I think they spar and mess eachother up a bit on the regs. Until the hospital scene, based on dialogue, I would bet that it was the only contact they had. I want to see it.

Here's my list 10- More Stealth Scenes, 9- Having Scarecrow have a cool mask (IF he's in the movie), 8- More clue solving/detective work, 7- a few more Alfred & Bruce Scenes, 6- In the end scene having him go to the Circus (hints at Dick Grayson), 5- Have Bruce be more of a business man and a little be of a playboy from time to time, 4- Have Jim Gordon mention daughter.. Barbara Gordon, 3- Have 2 Joker Scenes one with Bruce, and the other with him as Batman... and having Joker about 'split' identities which hints at 2-Face, 2- Have a scene where Bruce is dreaming and a clue is put together in his mind, 1- make him say: "It's because... I am The Dark Knight.."

I definetly think that mr freeze or Two-Face could be great villains for the sequal.

I too love the batmans suit but I cant see him wearing that, like ten years in but for the sequel I think it would do the job quite well but I was a bit bummed when he just had it fixed for the final scene. And I would love to see he's eyes go white in the drak/detective mode or in the smoke, it would be soo cool and I'd love to see a philanthropist Bruce wayne over a playboi Bruce.

I want the second movie to take less time than the first to set things up. I don't want it to feel rushed and overstuffed like most Marvel movies, but at the same time I know for a fact they can fit more into a 3 hour runtime without compromising quality.

What I would love to see in The Batman sequel is Bruce training with the flying grayson, with him going to the circus to ask them to teach him to be more agile and acrobatic (something I don't think he was in the previous film). This could make a new spin in Batman and Robin (Dick Grayson) relationship: Much like his parents act as mentor for Bruce, in the end, he becomes mentor/ father figure for Dick Grayson. Also I think the villain should be The Ventriloquist & Scarface, who could try to take over Gotham underwolrd after Falcone's death, resulting in a gang war between him and the Penguin

The line Alfred says to Bruce in the hospital about teaching him how to fight also seems quite vague to me as we never truly know the extent of Bruce's training (depending on whether or not the prequel book is canon). Of course in Batman Earth One, Alfred is the only teacher that Bruce has but here, we don't truly know how long Alfred taught Bruce. It could have been from when he was a kid to an adult or from kid to teenager before leaving to Gotham to travel and train in the mountains. I think Alfred's line is meant to be left up to the interpretation of the interpretation considering that Batman in the movie fights like a martial artist, while still making mistakes as he's only human, but is also strategic with his strikes and stealthy with his takedowns and can use enemies weapons against them (it reminds me of the combat from Batman Arkham Asylum actually) as we see in the hallway fight in the Iceberg Lounge and when he's getting the drop on Riddler's gang towards the end of the movie. Secondly, about the time period in which The Batman take place in. I remember a while there was a set image that revealed that The Batman took place in 2019. I've watched the movie several times I couldn't find evidence in the film itself that it took place in 2019 and Bruce's journal only reveals the dates (October 31st and November 6th) but no year. I would assume that the movie takes in 2019, but then it could easily be timeless considering that there is a mixture of old and new technology along with the style of the buildings and the range in car models (just like Batman The Animated Series and Gotham). I'm not too sure here, but it's just a thought. Lastly, the release date of The Batman 2. I'm thinking Reeves wouldn't want to make audiences wait too long for the sequel and could release in 2024. The reason why I think this is because the Penguin spin-off show is supposedly filming right now and will lead into the sequel. So, Penguin could hypothetically release in early 2023 (of course, we don't know when the Arkham spin-off is coming either if that gets picked up as well) and The Batman 2 in either mid or late 2024. Sequels typically tend to release 2 to 3 years after the previous instalment (unless it's Avatar The Way of Water and Top Gun Maverick) and considering that Reeves has a trilogy planned, most likely he's already brainstorming ideas for the sequel. Of course, this depends on how long it takes for him to finish writing the script but, if he finishes writing by late 2022, then they might be able to start filming in early 2023 and finish in mid to late 2023 (assuming the pandemic doesn't grow any worse) and slate for a 2024 release, which would also be the 85th anniversary of Batman and thus, very fitting. Originally, The Batman was slated for July 2021 and they started production in early 2020 before having to shut down and delay the movie because of the pandemic. If there was no pandemic, then the movie would have probably finished production by mid to late 2020 and would have released sooner than expected. Of course, this is just another thought of mine. Damn, I always forget to ask where'd you get that Batman cap? I personally wanna see a villain that Bruce struggles to fight both physically and emotionally. Honestly, Mr Freeze is a top pick for me, and it's set up perfectly with a flooded Gotham, so in the winter time, there'd be quite a lot of ice. What I don't wanna see though is Catwoman because they wrapped up her story nicely, and I only expect her to return in the 3rd movie.

I actually came up with a pitch to what The Batman 2 can look like. Now I know that the creators wanted to be more grounded with the villains and seeing how some take a more sci-fi angle, it probably wouldn’t work. BUT, test screenings for the first movie stated how it gave off psychological horror vibes. And since some villains do have monstrous looks to them, monster=horror. So while the choices of who I pick sound odd, I think they can definitely work for this kind of movie. Those villains being, Pamela Isley/Poison Ivy and Matt Hagan/Clayface. So here’s my pitch: “Recently, on the news, there’s been a line a chains for a new beauty product chain spreading around Gotham. But word has been getting out that there have been murders of many high profiled business people who all are being killed for strange reasons. The people are all linked to Roland Daggett, the business owner of the beauty chains, however no proof is shown that Daggett is behind the murders. But Bruce/Batman is still suspicious that Daggett is still not telling the truth on something. In the meantime, Matt Hagen who's a famed actor is reveal to have a dark secret when his face while handsome in the films is deformed when nobody sees. He has a supply of beauty cream that is made by Daggett's company where it's reveal that Daggett offered him a lifetime supply of it in exchange for being a test subject for the cream when being prepared to sell out. The cream which was made by none other than Pamela Isley (Poison Ivy) made from rare plants that have the ability to form into specific shapes. Isley however had other plans, where thru Batman's detective work realizes that it was her who murdered those people through her poisoning the beauty products (specifically lipsticks). Batman begins a mission to find Isley's hideout, where we get some intense scenes when he arrives to investigate her place. But the area is filled with so many plants. Batman just so happens to touch one that it grasps him, to which we get a jump-scare and the plants attack him, causing either Batman to escape or personally meet Ivy. Ivy's plan is revealed that she's attempting to murder all the people who deal with Daggett, including him, due to the fact that they've been destroying rare nature just to build their corrupt business which leads to Batman realizing that Daggett isn't all that he seems as well. As it turns out, Daggett's business is rid with underground crime, laundering, and fraud. He plans on take over many businesses, one of them being Wayne Enterprises, which Bruce/Batman doesn't realize yet. Daggett needs Hagen to join a gang to take on a hit for one of the businesses, and says if Hagen refuses he'll cut his supply off. So Hagen does so, but the attack goes south, and one witness recognizes Hagen, except claims that he looks like Bruce Wayne. Bruce is arrested and Daggett has Hagen killed for what he did, as an attempt to avoid half measures. Hagen is presumably killed by being forced to swallow an entirely tank of the beauty cream formula and left for dead, only for his body to turn into clay. Hagen now has become a literal blob who can transform his shape (His look will be similar to The Thing, Tetsuo's mutation (Akira), the T-1000 and Ditto (Pokemon), but more scary). Hagen swears revenge on Daggett and when Isley hears about him, decides to cut a deal with him, in which, he helps her plan her murder and plant growing spree, and she'll give him Daggett to kill. And this can lead to a great showdown with some creepy imagery of Clayface's horror appearance and Ivy's monstrous plants attacking the public, and an epic showdown with Batman fighting them.” Basically, this movie can pay homage to 80s monster movies, like The Thing, The Fly and Little Shop of Horrors, mixed with Batman: The Animated Series where I got these stories from. This also sort of takes a more darker take on beauty products, (Though I’m not sure how they’re gonna be able to commercialize that.).

I see Bruce’s growth to be more empathic and understanding towards his allies. Almost like he’s a person who provides emotional support to others - since he understands their pain because of his past. And that is what ultimately leads up to the more righteous, merciful Batman.

There's a lot of stuff I'd love to see in the next one, but most of all, with how they introduced Riddler and Joker in Arkham I want to see a progression of that relationship (perhaps all they do is break out and seem to be on the same side), I'd like to see a set up for a The Batman 3: War of Jokes and Riddles. If they could hodgepodge a Jokes and Riddles storyline into the future I would literally wear my Batsuit to the theater....and I only wear the Batsuit at home...so needless to say, I would be quite excited.

I just hope between all the projects we get a world that feels connected and introduces enough Batman characters to feel like a well crafted live action Batman universe.

villains I'd love to see: Mad Hatter, Ventriloquist, Mr Freeze, Poison Ivy, Clayface. Scarecrow and Joker would be great but I feel they have already been done so well so why bother. I'm 50 50 on bringing Dent and Two Face in, because of the shadow of TDK. Definitely love the idea of bringing on Robin soon, possibly in the next film. we haven't seen a really serious take on Robin though Chris O Donnell did a decent enough job with the material. its cool to think of riddler, catwoman and penguin continuing to be characters in the reeves films. as we see more of the rogues gallery I do think this will be the quintessential batman trilogy, as much as I will always treasure the dark knight trilogy they are still more of a deconstructionist take and not very comic booky... thanks for the great upload!!!

New Batsuit as the first one looks like a bad spoof suit

1. I need Scarecrow introduced. Hes my favorite villain for this Batman universe, vibe wise. It could be so gothic and cool to do his story. I know the last movie was Halloween, but it dont gotta be Hall for Scarecrow. Or fuck, it could be a year later, and we get a Halloween trilogy lol. Kidding. But I just need em, and I think if they do him they should do him at a point where Bruce still has rookie fears. Stuff hes still holding onto about his parents, losing Alfred, being outed because he'll be doing more Bruce Wayne publicity, and he'll feel vulnerable about being both Batman and Bruce in the public eye, etc. By the third one I dunno if there will be as much fear in Bruce/Batman to play with for a Scarecrow story. And with this trilogy, it seems theyre having it so each villain/larger than life character is highlighting/teaching Bruce about himself. So I feel its a now or never thing with Scarecrow. But I wouldnt want him to be a side villain. Like straight up the theme of the movie. Plus sidelining villains only works with Penguin types, who are basically regular type criminals. Wont work with types like Scarecrow, thered be too much shit to squeeze in and whittle down. 2. Harley Quinn mentioned or seen, so she and the Joker can develop. Whether its stated shes already been around, or just appearing in his life, either or is a necessity to establish their dynamic. Although maybe they'll be introducing her and Crane in the Arkham series. But if we're gonna have her, a middle entry would be necessary. 3. Harvey Dent. He legit needs to be the new DA. And since he always starts off as a fresh faced, good dude, it will go hand in hand with Bella Real's crusade to better Gotham. Speaking of him taking the DA mantle, I also agree Jim shouldnt be commissioner yet. It should be Loeb. Jim becoming commissioner in the third would be more fulfilling, for various reasons I wont drone on about. 4. Goes without saying, but more duality in Bruce. I reaaaaally, really love quiet Bruce, so I'm of the same mind as you, and I want him to be reluctantly making the effort. Like we could see the pain and uncomfortability on his face when he saw the cameras at the funeral. He fake smiled and looked ill. So I think him having nerves about it, but still forging ahead would be a great dynamic. Like the badass dude who beats the shit out of criminals gets shaky before a speech type dynamic. And just have him becoming accustomed to that and getting better at it throughout the movie. However, I donno if theyll necessarily want him THAT public, or repeatedly play into it. Like you said, maybe just the news mentioning about him helping or donating. But I think an overall nervousness and deep uncomfortability with being public should be conveyed and overcome in some aspect. Like an instance of a speech, a meeting at Wayne Enterprises, relationships being strengthened/formed (Bella and Harvey). 5. Batarangs. Slightly modified suit. Maybe even sleeker in the torso section. Although I'm the same and love the first suit. So this is mainly just me wanting something new for the sake of it. Or, a different version of this point, would be that he has another suit for a certain occasion. Like maybe he is going up against Freeze, and in which case he develops some suit to counter his ice gun. I dunno. I always loved the different suits in the comics and toys. It always reflected Bruces genius and resourcefulness, and was just really cool to me. 6. Even more detective work. 7. I don't want him to be in daylight very much, if at all. It worked for the moment in the first one, and obviously it all depends on the situation, but overall, the knight at night. 8. Dylan O'Brien as Dick Grayson. PLEASE GOD. Please. 9. Less Penguin, way less Catwoman (maybe they see eachother in Budhaven, when The Flying Graysons come in. If they do), and maybe a scene or two of the Riddler and Joker planning an escape? Which can then maybe take place in an end montage/after credits scene? Or said end scene IS them planning it, with whatever new villain Batman puts away. I dunno thats kinda dumb, and is another thing that could be covered in an Arkham series. Speaking of the Arkham series, I really hope it deals with already established characters, and or characters straight from the comics like Crane and Harley, etc. And not some newly created character for the show. Thatd be fucked. Like it'd be amazing to have a show about Riddler and Joker escaping. Anyway, this point is moreso about me wanting more progress to the whole idea about Matt Reeves saying these characters are in their infancy. So like I want them to develop throughout, because I want to see Riddler in a green suit and a Godman bowler hat. And he wouldnt need to hide his face anymore, so he could just become like a fugitive criminal kingpin. Shit like that. And the Joker in some purple threads, and maybe a little plastic surgery lol. 10. More fantastical elements. But of course in line with this universe. I just want them to find that sweet spot, and dive right the fuck into it. Whether that means Mr. Freeze, or what. Speaking of, if they do him, which I would fuckin love, they better fully commit. I'm not saying make it crazy over the top, because again I want it to be true to what they've created. But he absolutely needs a gun that shoots ice, and a cryogenic suit. It can absolutely be explained with 'grounded' movie logic, via new technologies. And let me be clear, not a gun that acts like a blowdryer, only the opposite, and shoots 'invisible' freezing mist or some shit. Like a fucking straight up liquid ice launcher, or however you'd describe the state of the ice coming from the gun. Like thats honestly why I cant see them doing Freeze without ruinging him, or the vibe the first movie established. It seems nearly impossible to pull off. At least in terms of pleasing me lol. Anyway I could go on, but those are the first 10 that come to mind.
