3 жыл бұрынSweet Sam has been living with us for just over year now and we are so glad to be able to give him a good, safe home. Sam has flourished under our care, with a new environment, new cage updates, proper diet and good foraging toys. Sam has also made a girlfriend!

Parrots are just WAY to needy for me. Some are cool but i wouldn't have the patience to deal with all the fear! i saw an African grey shaking uncontrollably over a little tube of chapstick......No joke! What do you do with them when you vacation or travel? (please don't tell me you quit traveling because of the birds!) lol

We have family that helps feed them! It does limit what we can do to a degree, how long we’re gone. My husband hates going anywhere so I usually go alone or with friends anyway 😂

I would be on the floor exhausted with 2 toddlers, 4 birds and multiple dogs to care for 🤣. Love Sam’s bond with Lily. Does he still like to hang out on the ceiling fans? Thanks for the video!

This was a super cute video😆😆😆 Looks like Sam is doing pretty good 🕊 Lol...I can only picture him rushing out from under the couch and biting feetsies 😆 How did he end up warming up to Mike the most? Was it random or was it just some about his interaction with him? Sam has quite a personality 😂😂

Because his prior owner was a male! Birds can be funny like that. Cookie prefers me in my opinion because her prior owner was a female.

I had a sun conure and he took to potty training really good. He would alway fly and poop in his cage or fly to his play stand to poop but we can’t for the life of us can’t get our Hahn macaw to potty train.

Capture! Use a clicker if you have one or say, “poop” or whatever word you choose when you catch them pooping, and give a reward. May have to do a video on this 🤣 thanks for watching

@@bestflockingfriends yeah, may have to give him a reward. He will poop when I take him to his cage or if I toss him in the air but if I toss him in the air he will fly to top of cage and poop either on his toys or poop on floor but if I take him to his cage he will poop right inside of the door which is best. No poop gets on anything.
