I had no idea that there was a remesh tool to help fix the topology. So cool! I loved to see you diagnosing issues with your wind dancer and then adjust the corresponding settings. This is an important part of the creation process and a lot of tutorials leave it out and just show you the end product, but you have no idea how they got there. Which means when you finally try to apply the tutorial to your own project, you stare at the menu forever and have no idea which values to change to get the effects you want. Super helpful.

THX! I appreciate you noticing! That is exactly what I try to do in my tutorials: Show how things work and can be used for many different scenarios, not just a final image with final settings like so many others do...

Great work, there aren't many quality videos out there demonstrating these kinds of interesting uses for cloth simulation. It's quite an overlooked feature of Blender.

Another way you could try is using the skin modifier with a collapsed to center cube(still have to remesh because it does weird things with the quads). It allows you to extrude the limbs out from the verts. This video is an awesome example of how to use cloth. Very enjoyable to make AND watch.

i couldnt find the bool tool, maybe someone can help. i selected the body and two arms of the sky dancer and pressed n, and on the sides the options are: view, tool and item, theres no edit i looked thru all of them ;-; help plz

how did you set animation from keyframe 0 to 1000? mine is stop at 250F please help!

simply set the "End" frame number to whatever you like

Physics sims caches have their own frame settings, just check/set those
