I really like your videos Ma'am. They are very informative and simple to practice. I am 35 and it was my childhood dream to learn dance. Started at this age but I am overweight and fear injury. Beautifully explained. You youngsters have all the information on dieting, exercise and workouts on your finger tips. And you have a Will to do that. Very nice. This can be followed by all age groups. Ha....once in a while listening to the beats of tongue will definitely give you satisfaction. Wow.. This is a comprehensive nutrition discussion helpful to all people dancers or otherwise. One observation if you don't mind. When checking nutrition contents, we have to be careful about bioavailability also. Though some substances may have more protein, some other foods can be absorbed better and hence better in nutrition.

Very true! It's best to opt for locally grown fruits vegetables and cereals. Hence the suggestion to stick to home-cooked traditional meals rather than some fancy diet plan😊

@@PratibhaKini Yes, I watched it fully, I understand that there are differences, but it was very helpful to get an idea of what you eat in a day just to gauge the levels of different varieties of foods that need to be included, I guess that applies to all the meals in general, I will use that as a guidance, thank you! And the other video was very informational for the latter part of my question, I watched it again, and found the specific answer I was looking for, Thanks again! I always look forward to your videos, they are very informational!

@@sidhyaganesh-dance6659 Thanks for watching my videos 🙏 glad it is useful. There is not one standard plan I follow other than eating home cooked, healthy, balanced food as per my calorie requirement. I do not eat chips and aerated stuff and treat myself occasionally! That's about it.

From what little I know, you could either eat 4 big meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner) or 6 small meals (with something very light between first two and last two meals in addition to above 4 meals). Make sure to check portion size/quantity.

You need to plan your diet according to the overall calorie needs.
