Dealing with periods could be tricky especially for dancers who juggle that time of the month and an intensive training schedule. Different phases of the menstrual cycle can affect metabolism and recovery from physical activity due to the fluctuation of hormones. So by understanding your menstrual cycle, you can adapt your dance training and workout routines and optimize the chances of succeeding with your dance training.

Nice to note the new generation is getting out the shackles of blind beliefs, accepting the physiology of humans (specially females ♀ ) and speaking openly on how to manage it. I like the detailed research which has gone into this. You have wonderfully debunked many myths of various cultures while claiming you will not talk about them. You didn't talk about them !!! 😉 I like the idea of the Journal... Listen, monitor the physiological changes, record them, get the rhythm, manage the Emotional and Physical well being. Great work of both you and the videographer producer. 🙌🙌🙌

In my opinion, it is completely fine. Menstruation is a biological process. It shouldn't become a cause for losing on an opportunity to dance.
