I have a old boiler section leaking and to get us by for remainder of winter we used the Gunk Liquid Boiler Seal

Yooo chucky! I'm a plumber in north jersey and I must say... CB1 u have been getting hammered down the shore with non stop emergency calls weather frozen pipes, no heat, etc.. I do 90% commercial with a company I work for but I'm also a lisc plumber who started and still does residential. Man U have been getting it non stop!! Surprised no checks in that mail box LOL! Keep the cool videos coming, there much appreciated. From one plumber to another, keeep up to good work and like always add on another satisfied customer! 👍🏻🔧🚰💰🇺🇸

We have the same problem and my husband suggested to put a cast iron pan over the pilot! Same as the lady's father! We ended up using leak stop liquid and we are doing good.

@@ChuckBarron how long will leak stop hold? And when I flush the boiler do I have to put leak stop in again?

I personally like Silver King products for this application. I just did this the other day on a copper/cast iron baseboard leak I couldn't get to without ripping down custom cabinets.

Anthony S. I have had pretty good luck in jams with utlitly wonder boiler colloid pretty much all the same I guess.. this is my go to when the crap hits the fan mid season and customer has no $$ like always lol

I hear ya Bobby!! My buddy wanted me to actually fix the leak by taking everything apart, until he heard his built in cabinets had to come out...lol. Then it was..." Yea..I'll take the boiler dope instead".

I used the Hercules (Oatey) liquid boiler seal with poor results stopping a leak at my boiler seam. Put the Gunk product in and completely stopped the leak. Now I can not find the Gunk Liquid Boiler Seal for sale any where. Did this product change names? Thanks!

I found the same container but it's a powdered seal haven't used yet going to try to soon
