hi there wondering if someone had this issue : my clutch hand is so tough that i use my right hand to make go all the way down so the engine would idle . this is so painful to the point that i dont ride the bike anymore رد

freedom knight, so that I'm clear. When squeezing the clutch lever on the handle bars, it's painful on your tendons? Did you say your clutch lever is on the right handle bar or the left?

hi it is on the left handle . i can ignore the high engine sound, the painful bumps in the street , the smell of gas and oil but my left wrist is injured and not strong enough to pull the clutch lever. was wondering if there a solution cause i miss going on rides , even thinking of electric bike if this issue is not resolved . maybe my Chinese lever is not a good one ? shall i look for other levers types?

freedom knight, you may want to adjust the spring on the clutch shaft which is relatively arduous process if you're not mechanically inclined. Though doing this may interfere with the efficacy of the clutch assembly. The springs on the clutch shaft have quite a bit of tension on them. They tend to soften a little with time. I do remember thinking to myself how uncomfortable squeezing the clutch lever was for me when I first started riding. I was able to get used to it after a while. Also you may want to consider switching from a 2 stroke to a 4 stroke motor. That way you don't have to worry about the manual (clutch lever), 2 stroke fuel smell or vibrations that are indicative of the 66cc 2-stroke motor. www.bikeberry.com/49cc-flying-horse-5g-pull-start-bicycle-engine-kit-4-stroke.html

freedom knight, levers are all pretty much the same. It all comes down to the tension in the clutch shaft spring.

many thanks , i appreciate your advice. i regret not getting electric kit though i am not sure if it is easier when it comes to the clutch handle, it is not as noisy and police are less likely to stop you for a license . cars are now either hybrid or completely electrical so i think it make sense that bikes too get electrical. air cooled has limited driving time . plus unfortunately we dont have lanes for bikes so its dangerous to drive in the high way , dont u agree?
