Thankyou so much for this meaningful advent of poetic warmth. I have passed immortal Love onto someone who has had a year from hell and is caught in her head with worry and fears. I hope she can use this as a memo to ground herself when it comes to mind. As well as my knitting as a timeless grounder I am an avid gardener from a long line of gardeners and the poem Soil screamed meaning to me. I am OBSSESSED with soil and it's structure and health. I stick my hands in it. I smell it. I compost it. I dig it. I teach others about it. I examine the soils and marvel at what they can grow when I travel. I understand that without it our planet CANNOT survive. It is the source of all food and our foundation on which we walk and build. I GOT the link instantly between our soul and the soil. This little poem is going straight to my garden shed...my "office" as I call it ...........to inspire and fulfill me ....

A complete balm - I loved every minute and as the minutes passed I became more and more engrossed and able to focus. This experience of listening well and entering in fully is not one often practised anymore by me and I really cherished it. Thank you so much both dear Amy and Jacquie 💕

I especially loved Irene P. Mathieu's poem, Soil. I reminded myself for many years (during some very low times) that I am one with the stars above my head and the dirt beneath my feet. It was a way to both honor my spirit and to ground myself in the present. This poem resonates with me in the same way. Thank you for sharing these bits of beauty with all of us!
