I built a helmholtz resonator setup for my muffler delete LS430 that completely eliminates that drone you can hear at 12:06. Works great and showing people how you can make one or design one to have a shop fabricate could make for a great video.

I did the quarter wave resonator on my LS430. Had a horrible drone at around 1800 RPM which is now completely gone.

I regret selling my ls400 especially after a really long and fun road trip but I needed the money to get rid of a motor home I didn't need anymore. I can see another LS car in my future, I've always been attracted to VIP builds

I'll look for an 05/06 UL in White or Silver to do similar upgrades . But I'll try using a Whipple twin screw supercharger and the best brakes are EBC USR Rotors and YellowStuff brake pads combined with Redline full synthetic brake fluid. Good Luck on your LS 430 hunt.

I have the same car in dark grey. 2005 LS430 with 192k miles. Every single thing still works. It's so reliable; it's never failed me. I'm looking forward to taking it to 400k and beyond.

The Flexus is the reason I bought an LS430 last year and I have no regrets buying it. The car has amazing MPG highway for a V8 and buttery smooth.

Just a tip guys, you should really apply some metal particle remover (fallout or metal cleaner) as part of the damage and current look of the wheels is due to those pesky particles messing with the finish

Love LOVE the FLEXUS. I've always been a big fan of roots-type blowers. Turbos are way more efficient and centrifugal superchargers are easier to adapt to any application, but there is something about the power delivery of an Eaton blower that those other power adders lack. Its perfect for a big old luxury barge like this one. The smooth, reliable, and handsome LS430 was the perfect choice for this project. Great example of selecting the right car and the right upgrades for an intended goal. Well done. My 2014 GS350 is very jealous.

I absolutely LOVE these cars and especially this one right here. All the mods you've made have really brought this LS to almost the perfect example of these cars! This truly was the golden era for Toyota in terms of style and reliability in my opinion. My '05 Avalon XLS has 196000 on the clock and I imagine it's good for at least 100000 more. Great video and a great car!

I've actually recently purchased an LS430 and came across the FLEXUS build while researching ideas on how to modify it in the future. It's safe to say this is very in keeping with what I would like to do to mine. Still working my way through the build series but so far very much enjoying it! It's good to know that the coilovers don't have too much of a detrimental impact on the ride quality. Mine is running the air suspension which is super comfy but makes it handle like a wet paper bag!

Such an awesome car, I can't believe it's already been a year! And the fuel consumption is shocking from a boosted V8! I get like 20-23mpg in my 5cyl Turbo Volvo C30 but, albeit I drive it in the city more than hwy but wow! Great work guys I love keeping up with your builds!

I love this build so much! I think I would build mine very much the same. I’d go with the same size wheels and offset probably, but not style because I can’t just rip you off. I might see if I could manage to adapt a different supercharger, I’d have to do research to be sure. Either way I think this is such a cool and fun build. Where you could use this all the time and enjoy it very much without regretting any of the modifications. This car and the LS460 generation that immediately followed this generation of the LS430, are my two favorite body styles of these cars. The new ones are very nice and cool too but are much different cars really. Even bigger and much more tech built in to them. I like the relative simplicity of these older Lexus big bodies.

I love this car so much! Please keep it going! Do some subtle interior and exterior changes. Throw some tint on the windows(not too dark) and make the car look and feel more presidential

Can't say I like any car more than this one. I gave my dad an 01 430 ultra because he needed something comfortable being elderly. The absolute most comfortable affordable and reliable luxury cars on the market. If I could I'd own 7. One for each day

Love this build and have bee following it.. but i have never found where did you get your lip kit from. The front lip, trunk/boot lip, rear bumper lip and side skirts are just the business!!❤️ Would love to do that to one, one day!

I love the Flexus! Btw that’s a raw polished aluminum lip so it will need to be polished and ceramic coated or clear coated to maintain the fresh look. Chrome blisters, rusts, or flakes off after time is what is on your grill or a classic Cragar hot rod wheel. Excellent content guys, I watch them all!

This car is incredible it just makes you really want it. The lip kit really does the car so good, and having a slick shiny paint job on these is key to their look. The market for these is kinda high right now tho $10,000 for a clean example with low miles and then gotta put the lip kit.

Love your flexus series, my favorite by far. Gave me a great path forward for own my '04 LS430 as I was at a bit of a loss for adding power for couple years now until I discovered your series. How about adding headers next, or better yet, how about replacing that M112 for M122 for a little more power?

Believe me you will love it more with a bigger S/C pulley and wire in a ECUMASTER DET3 which is a peggy back and it works very well.

Man this makes me miss my 2006 LS430 UL that I regretfully sold in 2020. I bought a 2002 ls430 two months ago but I decided to gift it to my youngest brother, it wasnt the same as the facelift. I ended up buying another w210 e55 amg but I sold that this morning, planning to search for another ls430 UL.

My Lexus IS200 once failed inspection because the inspector did not know how to operate the windshield mist, haha! So you are not the only one DP! Love the Flexus. As for updates: I am curious to know how Pete's 930 Turbo is doing.

GS460 is the best of the lot. 8 speed, same RWHP without a blower, quick for a heavy car, handles well. I kept a pretty new RS5 honest through twisties/uphill it was hilarious, slightly slower on exit (they are 4wd vs mostly open diff) but he didn't pull on the straights or get away in the corners lol. Just did the front AVC shocks it's like a new car, absolutely love that car.

I hear you on the windshield washer button. For the longest time, I couldn’t figure out how to work it on my GLC. Found out it’s a two stage button on the stalk. Lol. Half press to activate the single wipe wipers, full press for washer fluid. Lol.

what an epic daily!! i bought an 06 ls430 with 98k miles back in 2019. i didnt do a good enough inspection/test drive before i bought it. ended up having some real problems at just 98k. all shocks were blown, had some really bad wheel wobbles/vibes at speed. ended up being something with the power steering rack. all speakers were blown. really bummed me out on the ls430. kinda want to get another one before the market for them goes through the roof but im scared haha

I have a set of wheels made by Augment Wheels and I love them. Dan was awesome to work with. Also chrome wheels won't get oxidation like your wheels did. Your wheels look like they are unfinished. Like the billett wheels that were popular on street trucks in the 90s.

I enjoyed your build of this LS430. I purchased a 2007 LS460 about eight years ago and sometimes feel that I should have held out for the right 2005-2006 LS430. I'm making the best of what I have. I'm expecting to go through the front control arm experience for the second round of replacements within the next 30-40k miles. Any suggestions regarding replacement parts, or just go with OEM again? Thank you for your content.

See if nolothane bushes exist for the LCAs. I'm pretty sure clublexus forum has pages about this. Or swap it for the GS it doesn't kill LCA as it's 200kg lighter ;)

4:13 - Mercedes are a push-in on the end of the stalk as well (it's one stalk; pulling is the momentary high-beam).

I've had the pleasure of owning one of these 430s.. What a fabulous car.. Replaced it with a 460 SEL which I sold some 8 months ago.. I'm actually looking for another Lexus.. And yes I'm going for another 430 :)

Try the 460 as well and if you can the GS.. it is the superior option as it doesn't chew lower arms at 60k miles.
