Their image and money is the only thing they care about , their actions have shown this time and time again. Mentally exhausting the lengths they will bully.

i’ve said this to you before, you are one of the most dialed in, spot on, and lucid expert in this horrible aftermath of Narc abuse. I never have heard you talk about your child, and as a mom of 2 special needs kids, and what I know about that life, i realize why you are also so seasoned and feisty.. we had no other options. hearing you talk about all the Dr’s , medications, the neurologist’s , egos etc.. man was i taken back immediately to that insanity circus they put mom’s and kids through. Because of all of my experiences, i started studying and then worked for 25 years with Special needs kids.I know the road you have been on is anything but smooth or easy, my heart from 1 mom to another , is with yours. I pray you are getting better care , that your son is being helped, and you have more peace. It is astounding looking back how much we can handle..🤯. I just want to let you know I’ve been intermittently studying this subject and have really heard easily 100 or more people discuss it . There are 3 people I truly feel Get this endemic of crazy. Dr. Les Carter, Dr. Ramani, and you. It puts you in the circle of 40 yr veteran therapists.. That’s huge!! I’m so happy I found you, because it is very difficult to try and get help from people that are either self identified narcissists saying they separate their narcissism whilst teaching?? He couldn't afford his own place but I could. When he did take a chance on his own apartment he couldn't afford the bills and groceries on his own. So I ended up threatened and manipulated into letting him stay and pretending to be unaware. It's not easy to find someone to stay with where you can take control and change the rules for yourself and not have to contribute much if anything at all. It's not me, it's my blessings and what I worked hard to have, which he is entitled to do as he pleases with.

My x! Our daughter was in a horrific auto accident after our divorce. I called him to let him know. What was the FIRST thing he said when hearing the bad news? "How much is this going to cost me?" WOW! He didn't even ask how our daughter was after the accident...and yet he managed to turn all of our three children against me. I no longer have any contact with my children or grandchildren because of his lies and manipulation.

Yeah, it is all messed up. First they groom you and make you committed to them. Then they abuse you on a daily basis. Then you offer them help but they refuse to cooperate in any way. Then you walk away because you can't deal with the situation anymore. Then they forget you and moved on after 1-3 days. Then they start a smear campaign telling their family members that you were abusive, that you left them, etc. making them look good and you all bad. Then they don't want to admit they were wrong and transform their behaviors or don't want to close the chapter fairly. In short, it is hopeless and very very sad.

Yep it's very hard to walk away from a person you fell in love with, but you must for your own survival and peace of mind. Hard to accept your NPD never REALLY authentically loved you. They only care how their lives look to others while not caring about those that really care about them. Truly sad.

A narcissist would rather pay a lawyer $100,000.00 in fees…to screw you out of $75,000.00 in assets, than just give you the $75,000.00 in assets. This is how vindictive they can become if you have the gull to file for divorce, from a serial cheating narcissist. Breaking free from their choke-hold grip on your life will be the most twisted scenario you will ever experience in your life.

Jimmy did this on Love is Blind. He kept saying dry I love yous, but Flirting with other women and starting arguments and getting offended when Chelsey would ask do you love me? Because you say it but it doesn’t feel like it.

But still it is mind bogling for me that they don't care about their children. I mean it is their own flesh and blood for Gods sake. Even though I watched and read so much about narcissism my mind still can't grasp their reality, their way of thinking. It is simply out of my world .

We aren't never been in a former relationship, he never wanted to commit, presenting me his friends or his family. I've been his side chick for some years and now he is single but even that he wants to stay free. Nevertheless he didn't want to lose me and I've tried to end this situasionship several times. He obviously comes back. I don't want to hurt him because I love him but I don't want this anymore. All in or all out. How can I ending that?
