My husband and I have had a rocky relationship since we moved in together and married (his mask fell off), and it took me years to understand that he has covert narcissistic traits. I've asked him a couple times WHY he married me, and his response is, "It just seemed like the next thing to do." Not the response I was hoping to hear 🤨 In other words, I married for growth, and he married because of a checklist 😢

Also narcissist's do want security that a marriage provides . Won't change their natural tendencies though ....

She cheated on me. Made me believe that this was an affair. Made me believe that she wants ME in her life. She also forced that guy look for me and tell me that they are not together. I gave her chance again. Unfortunately She Emptied my pockets again..blocked me without saying goodbye..And they got engaged 💔

My Ex used to want to marry me all the time then said one day he was happy the way he was. I often felt I was in the way. He had his routine and ways like anyone else, but with me being in the same space as him this routine wasn't run ING the way he wanted. 🍒

Thank you ben you are describing what my marriage was i didn't see it at the time. But now we are separated and he is divorcing me i can see a lot clearer. He needs therapy but unfortunately he is in denial and i am the problem not him!!!.😂

I have not watched this video yet. I was working and it finally came to me- so I stopped and found this video. I was married to a Narc, and I finally know the core reason WHY she married me. She got married the first chance she got, because being 'married' gave her LICENSE to mistreat me. And she knew that pastors and people in general would condone her preying on me, under the color of 'marital issues'. And THAT'S the primary reason why Narcs get married; so they can have 'legal', sanctioned access to mistreat a person on a daily basis.

My ex left a letter on my car saying he has cancer I know he is playing but I’ve been stalked for a year and 3 months is he obsessing and why? What is happening in his mind will he stop anytime ?

Do narcassist marriage with her rebound partner will create a problem in the future? I've been with my ex for 3 years and she jump into a rebound in 2 months after that. She engaged with the rebound within 2 months knowing him and married after 6 months.
