Journaling for me has been very helpful to feel less stressed and feel light and free. Idk how or when exactly I started feeling confident to express how I feel inside. Talking to friends, and being in relationships has showed me that it's very difficult for people to truly express themselves. I'm always so grateful that I do have the ability to process my emotions, and take inventory of how I feel. Thank you for sharing the App. I think it's great to find ways to help someone find something that works for them ✨️

Perfection is the enemy and not the goal. Perfectly said. I struggle with finding a balance with my inner thoughts. Actually, this morning i did everything in my power to get up, reset, readjust and keep going 💙

how can you stop fighting when your nature is "i don't give up" or "don't tell me who is going to let me, tell me who wil stop me!" Now you know my internal struggle with Buddhism, yet i continue to walk the path.

You are actually perfectly set up for success with that mentality of "I don't give up." Simply direct that level of determination toward peacefulness; the moment you notice you are white knuckling "against" something, loosen your grip and shift perspectives (promote what you love). Use that "I don't give up" mentality to be your own best cheerleader (don't give up on yourself, on your inner-peace, on remaining calm). Having said that, you ARE getting in your own way by saying "it's my nature," as if you have no control over it. I used to say the same thing about "my nature" until I realized our nature is to adapt, adjust, and change, not to remain rigid. Here's a five-minute episode about that: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hZ2UfMiJqsixhqc.html

I love these podcasts. This really resonated with me because I totally agree. I have been sober for over 14 years and believe in the practice of prayer and meditation. I try throughout the day to hit the pause button before reacting and I learned this in sobriety. And kindness is key. We never know how we may affect someone else simply by smiling at them on the street or holding a door open for them. Kindness spreads more kindness. Thank you so much!!

This was a great reminder to my day. I'm actually trying to acknowledge my "bad" thoughts and tell myself this is a habit or don't fall into the trap. If that makes any sense. Anyways, I appreciate you always spreading positivity 🙌 & the recommendation of the book. Have a wonderful Friday.

I so agree with this. I can remember crying at home once - much to my Mum's distress. I remember saying to her 'If I'm not safe to cry at home where am i safe to cry?' She nodded and agreed with me and it opened the door to me being able to talk with her about the bullying i experienced at school. Blessing be upon you, Timber, i had the privilege of meeting in Penzance , UK. My son is doing better now, thanks, in part to your book. Tc x

Pulling out of "competition mode'"is making a wonderful difference in my life. I am now doing "Just Enough" and/or "Good Enough" (in my opinion)..Others may disagree with my efforts; and finally, that's OKAY.

Beautiful ❤thank you. Im indeed slowing down as i had a mild heart attack last week. My only symptoms were shortness of breath and a very low Oxygen saturation. I went to my smal mtn town urgent care thinking i had pneumonia, but lungs were clear. She sent me to local ER, who determined my cardiac enzymes were elevated and i went by ambulance to a larger hospital ICU in Sheridan. I still have lung problems but clear arteries. Im not that old!

I love this ❤️ I've watched it before and it's resonating more now, as i am purging and thinning out. If I don't have it, I don't have to dust it! Brilliant for a non-housekeeper! I say, "If I don't have it, I don't have to clean it!" Down to four plates - there are two of us. Doing dishes is not my thing either, so that was a no-brainer!! Thank you Timber - so clear and funny 😅

Greetings! I confess I’m listening occasionally so may not be up to speed on all episodes. My world is filled with friends and family who are gender diverse . . I’m nearing my 6th decade of life and do make mistakes in my pronoun use (still reaching for the light switch) . . Twice I’ve quietly and privately apologized, assuring my loved ones that I respect them and will strive to do better. So, I’m confused by this episode. Are people angry that you embrace gender diversity? Or is it because you urge forgiveness for “reaching for the light switch”? Best wishes. ❤

Thank you. The backlash was because I urge us all to keep an open heart and mind, celebrate diversity, and loosen the grip on rigidity; it didn't sit well with many people who claimed I was too "woke" rather than taking a stand against what they call "nonsense," when I, as a rule, promote what I love, not bash what I hate.. I talk about what I'm for, not what I'm against. It's not everyone's cup of tea, and that's okay. I was just surprised is all..
