Hmmm i think destiny's approach with the storyline is good if you miss a big part of the story its not their fault its a really big game to include all that stuff. But to archove it would be nice but in the end i really like the idea of not everyone being able to get the whole picture because it lets the true dedicated players have the biggest coolest story probably ever witnessed but then again no hate to new players or people who missed out i just like the exclusivity because i was there to watch it unfold the good and bad so i dont mind

Ikora is my favourite vanguard. Portrayed as a calm, collected character who only acts when she needs to, effortlessly analysing whats happening around her and seemingly putting 0 effort into what she does

Rhulks past is crazy. We keep getting lore on other planets out in the universe of destiny. I hope one of these days we get to venture out of the solar system to fight some other creatures.

biggest issue is none of these even remotely compare to the overall plotline of the witness and i worry something similar will happen to destiny that happened to mcu post thanos. All of these seem enjoyable but no real longevity

tbh the winower didn't come to mind at all for me. It sounded like the Traveler was talking to Saint, but when she said "all of you" it made me think she was talking about Clovis Bray, as the kind of "father" of all exos. I'm curious if the darkness doppleganger we saw way back then was the witness. If not who was it? If so why did they decide to put on a guardian cosplay to talk to us?

It reminds me of Seveneves. Basically, in the 2nd half of the book, when humanity is repopulating and terra forming Earth, humanity has split itself into seven distinct subraces due to there only being seven female survivors (in space anyway. There used to be a ton of people, but crap happened) due to that, they had to use eugenics to keep their genes stable, and also used eugenics to get rid of certain flaws/add specializations. One of these subraces is basically a sort of Swiss army knife, where their personalities undergo a massive reset/change in order to adapt to an environment. So, like the exo, they add numbers to their names to symbolize how many of these changes they've gone through. So like, Hera-2 or James-7.

I feel like no one is looking at this from a perspective of RS and HNW. HNW could very easily be the gardener not the traveler and RS could very easily be the winnower. All we know is they were close companions who couldn’t see eye to eye on what the final shape was. We don’t know what happened to HNW or where they are. They could already be inside the traveler. They could have been what created the ghosts using the light to give to guardians. And seeing how influential RS seemed and how differently he thinks from other precursors and his last act of “heresy”. It could be a possibility they hold more of a piece of the witness than the rest of the precursors hold.
