2/2 is the time signature and doesn't provide any indication of speed/tempo. I recorded this at 90 bpm (half note gets the beat since it's in 2/2). Do you feel it should go a bit quicker or slower?

@@acappellahymns I wish my congregation would sing all of our songs faster like your videos do but I will not start a problem. I believe our singing speeds are terribly slow and I also believe that many visitors will never return because they don't feel comfortable with bad sounding singing. I put up with it and focus on singing to the Lord. I am blessed by all of your videos. I record them and listen to them on an mp3 player while I drive heavy equipment and help maintain a 420 acre horse farm.

I really appreciate this! Many of us accepted the gift of salvation at a later age and weren't taught any hymns and end up getting suckered into listening to the general "Christian" genre of music and never get to know the joy that the Holy Spirit fills you with whilst singing these powerful precious hymns. This is not a real organ. Real organ have pipes and fo kot require electromagnetism to make sound. Real organs also are safe for pacemaker patients to be around without worrying about the music effecting the very thing keeping them alive. But, churches do not care about that, now, do they?
