How come you ground gears using the clutch? We only used the clutch do we didn’t stall the motor out when starting and stopping . The rest of the time we just floated them in and out

I just bought a 4 speed truck from auction. Missing the front right axle. The truck will move if transfercase is in HL and L but will not move in H. If I tap the brake while case is in H and trans in Overdrive it tries to engage but doesn't. All the fluids are good. I'm new to this, your experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for making this video. I bought my 2007 MTVR in 2020 in pristine condition, with only about 3,000 miles on it, and then drove it about 2,000 miles when we relocated. Up until just recently, it has started easily, but now it's getting difficult to start if I don’t start and run it once a month. I have an extensive background in auto repair, but I never did diesels. I have begun studying the fuel system on these vehicles, and I think I basically understand them. I think I'm going to buy a pressure gauge for diagnostic purposes, pick up a fuel return check valve, and replace both filters, which could be 16 years old now. I don’t see any external leakage at the hand pump, but I am aware that it is a typical area of concern. If you have any comments, I am all ears. Thanks again.

Just replace the o rings .easy on the shaft

That plug will only be rated to 350 amp . And have burnt one out on a 12 thousand pound winch that stalled out

What was the reading on the ohm meter? I heard the buzzer but can’t see the reading. Mine read .3 and then pressed down OL out of limits.

I have a Humvee that may have a similar issue. I have the M1152 6.5 L Diesel. The brake switch is the same as what you have. The vehicle will go into over rev and struggle to maintain 40MPH. The engine is fine.
