So if you’re at the Palms, you can do short term rental and airbnb, but still need a STR license which is basically paying a few hundred bucks for it and you’re all good to go? Which route do you go to obtain the license? Via Clark county website?

You will have to go to business licensing at 500 S. Grand Central Parkway and purchase from them.

I own the same floor plan on floor 26, which is slightly than that garage. My advice is to show these units at night because the city lights are beautiful. Also, you should talk up and show all the amenities like the Stirling Club

Gross. A view of hot concrete, nothing green. Balcony - breathe in exhaust from the freeway, and listen to the noise of traffic. The tiny first bedroom - barely enough room to walk next to the bed and no window.

Nope and they suck. Feel like sleeping in a coffin. Would need to see the room again as many places in is illegal. There needs to be another way to get out in case of fire, etc. No way would I ever pay the asking $575K.

I've been curious about that. I showed a friend a listing for a Panorama condo along with a couple others elsewhere and his comment was "whatever you do, DO NOT BUY the one by the Interstate--trust me, I lived in a place like that and the air quality was a killer". I'd never thought of that. Though this unit it pretty high so likely gets better air than one lower down. It'd be fun to measure it, somehow.
