Ah, that dash looks superb - the interior as a whole looks fantastic. How gratifying that the various elements all fitted together so well. This video is short, but it gave us the first real sight of what you´re going to get at the end of the build - something unique and beautiful.

Thanks Del. I've started work on the doors, and they are coming along OK... as long as I don't screw them up they should look alright I think. I am already starting to think about electrics when I do the final teardown and fit out.

@@OldIronRC It´s coming together beautifully.

Looking good. Can't wait to see it with it's doors! Really "RAD" music this time! I loved it. I've been riding along(via Internet)in some V8 Macks with some of your mates. ..don't exactly where down under they are but the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the cab and everyone drives on the wrong side of the road! Thanks again for great video. Later😎🇺🇸

yeah, the doors will be good to get done. Gotta love the V8 Macks no matter which side the steering wheel is on.

Watchin Cyanide cut fenderwells set to the Sloppy Lazy Blues. That how the magic happens.

The music matched my sloppy lazy metal crafts very well lol. Thanks for watching and commenting Mike!

Lookin' like it's just about ready for a test drive! Can't wait to get back to work on my own custom rig build...Globe Liner with a Toyan SOHC in it.

I am lacking in electrics to power this at the moment, need to save some pennies and get on to the go end of this project.

@@OldIronRC I've been hung up on my build for months waiting on finding a suitable pinion to go between the forward/reverse transmission that came with my engine and the LESU 3-speed that'll go after it. Finally found them the other day. Once that pinion's in I can get to work actually mounting the engine and driveline into the truck, start plumbing things, maybe even test-fire it in-situ. AAaaaand then it's finding room for a throttle servo, *two* shift servos, a fifth release servo, a brake servo, a receiver, a 2s LiFE to power the radio system, a 3s LiPO for cranking the engine over, switches and relays for running lighting, a trailer connector....... Hoping when I'm done I'll have a nitro Globe Liner that can pull as well as if I had used the included silvercan motor. Those motors are only good for 40-50 watts whereas these engines are good for close to half a horse so it's mostly a matter of gearing and ensuring I don't have too much slip in the driveline.

@@TestECull yeah man, that'll be a tight squeeze even in a truck body eh.

@@OldIronRC yeah I had no choice but to use the globe. The engine sits too tall to sit in anything else. Tappet cover comes up to just below the windows!

Looking good brother, being an I.T. guy myself. Do I spy hdd magnets holding the roof on?
@OldIronRC3 жыл бұрын
Yes Sir. They are damn handy strong little magnets.
