We are talking about all the not-so-pretty things and what I have noticed more about myself 4.5 months out. I keep learning more things and as I go through this journey, my body keeps changing and I'm just trying to keep up!

Hey, girl! Thank you for the update! I am sorry to hear life has been so rough for you lately. But you have still been keeping on track and you keep losing. The cravings can definitely be real at times. I let myself have some of those craved for things, generally small amounts and once in a while and I always make sure to track everything. That way I don't feel deprived and I'm still accountable. Hope things settle a bit for you soon and you can feel more in routine. 💕

I had my surgery yesterday of the gastric sleeve May 21 at 11 am. I was discharged home home today around 4. Nothing like being in your own bed when you just don't feel good. Last night and earlier today I felt horrible. Gas pain as well as surgical pain. I wasn't nauseated too much cause I had the anti nausea patch on my right side of my neck. I tried to sip on my broth and water and Crystal light and eat some sugar free jello. I tolerated very little. Just seem like soon it hit my new stomach omg the gas pains were unbelievable. Only thing allow me to be able to breathe and try and sleep was iv narcotics and later switched to go narcotics of oxycotin . I then was able to go for walks in the hospital which did help with the trap gas. Last night and early this morning I felt horrible. Was do dehydrated. I received at least 2 1000 cc bags of iv for hydration. About 30 minutes ago while typing to you I took and chewed two gas relief tablets good for pressure, bloating and gas distress. It seemed to help. I ate two sugar free popsicles. I'll try and sip on some Crystal light now and throughout the night as I sleep. Tomorrow I'll try more of the broth, jello and water if I can keep that has combated. This first week post op surgery will be your toughest to deal with . Good night and good luck to you all. Keep me in your y Thoughts and prayers. I thank you so much.

patricia Thank you so much for your update. It’s crazy how different peoples processes are. I didn’t have much problem with the gas. I was walking like crazy though. Keep up the good work. It will pass!

My dietician gave me a sample of Devrom for stinky gas! It’s a deodorant for your insides they come in chewable (mint flavored) and capsules! They sell it on amazon! It’s for stinky farts 😉 and I had the same loop ds switch! So glad I went with that instead ! I’m 3 weeks post op tomorrow

The faintness could be caused by a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing up. You should make your Dr. aware, it could indicate nothing or be a symptom of more serious problems. Great weight loss!

Thank you! I definitely will.

I get light headed and dizzy to point I feel like I’m going to faint. Keep an eye on your glucose levels as well as blood pressure. VIP poo works great for when going to restroom I keep one in my purse just in case I’m out and about it’s a life saver it’s the generic brand for poo pourri just half the price also lemon is the best to mask works as a spritzer if you needed it for when u have gas. Anyways keep up the good work

Gina Marie how have you been feeling?

I've been feeling good. I moved all this last weekend and didn't have the fainting spells as much. I've upped my iron but feel like I'm at a plateau. It's getting harder to the lose the weight now. Thank you for asking!
