My husband don’t make six figures. But he has good work ethics and character. He has increased his income exponentially from when we met. Btw he has no high school diploma. He is a truck driver and has a business on the side.

The problem is that when he levels up he thinks he can get a better woman. Best to get a man that is already into his purpose and living his goals. Then you will know he really wants you.

I have a friend that said he had to check himself. He started talking to his daughters mom differently and understood that the change started with him. Once he changed, she changed. They have a good relationship now. He says that he wouldn't be the man he is now without the love of a black woman.

Towards your wife, your children, your job, your spirituality all is constant work……but!…….it’s smooth sailing if that’s what you want. It has to be about you first in order to go out and pull a lovely woman into your world and for woman to do likewise.

Pass the collection plate. You talk good talk🎵good talk🎶 😁thank you for pointing out good factors in identifying behaviors of a mate. It is so amazing to me that we are so afraid of conflict, when conflict is a natural part of any relationship. We believe in a false image of thinking not arguing is a sign of a Godly character, when that is a sign of idolatry. God never said that phrase. The Bible points out to be aware of conflict. God tells us the internal conflict within us between flesh and spirit, so tell me how you are not going to have conflict with a mate when your spirit is in conflict with itself!!!!

QUESTION: Assuming you used to have poor emotional responses or a low EQ, was there something obvious that happened that helped you identify you had poor reactions? Was it an immediate change in your behavior or was it difficult to teach yourself to be mindful in your emotional responses? Do you think the woman can play a role in his poor reactions if that’s what he says his “reason” for those reactions are?

@@TheShumakeWay men don't want us for our character they only want superficiality and submission. If you don't know what its like to date, marry or live with men as a woman you shouldn't be out telling them who they should give a chance to because 9/10 his "potential " never pays off for her and she ends up wasting her precious limited time with a man who only offered promises. When women have higher standards the men will HAVE TO STEP up. If you want men to do better teach women to always have high standards. Men are too content with being accepted for "who they are" look where that's gotten us. Enough is enough.

Men know men better than women do. So to get second hand, biased, tainted, emotionally charged information about men from a woman is only going to put you on a path to dealing with men from a biased perspective. Also, when a person shows you who they are (their character), you better believe them!!! People can tell you anything and everything, but if their character doesn't line up, you're getting played for a fool. So if you have a problem with a man telling you to look at a man's character to determine if he deserves more of your time, you deserve everything that comes your way. Your discernment meter is broken.
