Very technical, but also very interesting. I was in a car accident and was thrown forward on the tarmac. My right knee took a hard knock while rolling to a standstill. When I tried to stand up, my knee just folded under me. It wouldn't take any weight. It swelled profusely.

I will say that my grip strength triples after a hard cardio run of 30-40 min (can easily dead hang for over 1 minute). I am not sure how this works but it does. Lastly, grip strength in the morning is less than 10 seconds on the dead hangs.

Hi, my name is Darlene, and my right knee has been locked straight for about eight years. I’ve seen an Orthopedic surgeon for years. However, he explained that it would not have much difference if I underwent a knee replacement surgery. He claims I wouldn’t have too much more movement in my knee than I have now. Is there another option for me to get my knee unlocked? Most of the time, there’s no pain. Thank you for whatever advice you can offer me.😊

why no mention of VCo2? no mention of breathing effect on VO2/Vco2? none of the "measurement" methods mentioned take these fundamentals into consideration...They are not separable

@corporis Do you know of any studies comparing lab-tested VO2 max to the estimated tests for VO2 max? For PE we have the cooper test, walked mile, mile, and pacer test to estimate a student's VO2 max. I'd love to know if we have studies showing how accurate they are compared to the lab test. Thanks.

I stopped at 1:33, if they clearly give an advantage then why is this a topic. Let em have it. So I can say I lost a running match to a guy worth no legs.

Scientist and climber here. Hangboards are for reinforcing specific muscles, tendons and pulleys; and the evolution is very slow, much slower than muscles, up to 2 years; and for seasonned climbers, likely they are already strengthened enough; "finger strength" is very wide, and should not be only based on muscle abilities; so, all of those papers and claims have poor meaning IMHO.

My heart rate absolutely skyrockets when I drink. I am half-Vietnamese (half European) and I have Asian flush, which I think plays a role in why my heart reacts so much. The more alcohol I drink, the more elevated my heart rate becomes. Perhaps you could do a video on why some people have a high resting heart rate when consuming alcohol while others don't, and how Asian flush might explain why many people experience an elevated heart rate.

1:22 ironically the silicone airpod design is the one that doesn't fall out of my ears whereas the jelly rubber constantly falls out no matter how I try and adjust them. And when I say fall out, I mean while I'm just sitting there stationary

This Doctor is intelligent enough to use non-assumptive gender terms, but the .00002% of gender-obsessed losers aren't intelligent enough to STFU about it. Always having to interject how gay they are, or non-binary they can be. Ok Dr, you can proceed with your great videos and amazing explanations now.

When in doubt, go for sports specific exercise. You a rock climber, get a finger board which mimics the grips you will find on climbing. You a pull-up enthusiast, practice one arm hangs from that bar. And so on.
