How I wish Rogue One had ended with this. The bad CGI was so jarring that it greatly detracted from the satisfaction which was surely the intended delivery when tying the end of Rogue One to the start of A New Hope.

In that CGI he looks more like Hugo Weaving than Henry Cavill.

instead of replacing harrison ford, which is dumb, you should be using deepfake to improve things like putting harrison for in the movie solo,and yes i know you already did that, i was just giving a for instance. but you could also add harrison ford's voice, since they have apps now to change the voice as well.

Question though, is this Deepfake technology improving on what they did or is it done from Scratch? Because if its the former then technically the original did most of the work with the Deepfake only retouching things to, in al fairness, make this look much better.

It'll take more than a Deep fake transfusion to improve Solo : A Star Wars Story. Hell, even Oscar winning director Ron Howard couldn't save Solo from Disney's Iger & Kennedy clown-show. still, the deep fakery looks good.

This is the one time I actually WOULD go back and change something in a Star Wars movie. This looks so much better. It’s truly amazing how this can be done today. Scary at times for its realism, but amazing.

The voice and hair are just so wrong with Ford's face. Mannerisms and cadence are pretty close, though, gotta hand it to the actor for that.

The biggest issue with Tarkin IMO is that he's just overly animated. Too much head movement, unnecessary expressiveness in the facial muscles.

Can you just deepfake the whole film? And while you're at it, edit out the whole robot rebellion. Thanks

this seems almost perfect, paired with the fact that the actor already looks quite a bit like him but younger it works well, I was a bit thrown off at first but after watching a few more sceans I kina just got used to the slightly waxy look and forgot about it

none of this matters since it's still made by disney, and disney is woke.

I think the deepfakes (much like Luke in Mando) look too flat, whereas the CG models look detailed and have depth, though are not convincing. Somewhere in-between perhaps...
