I watched an interview of michael fassbender because I was fascinated by his role as David in prometheus. When asked what he do, his answer was " I eat everything and I don't have a trainer, only thing I do is I don't eat after 1800" This makes a lot more sense because it seems practical.

Veganism is about morals first, health second. The fact that we can thrive on balanced plant-based science proof diet is the reason to go vegan. I despise the raw vegan aproach, they're the once that quit veganism and go full carnivore blaming the vegan community for their lack of knowledge.

Im 26 and I saw this right after seeing Nicolas Berndt’s transformation from 14 years old to 17 years old and man did you help me. After going to the gym for 10 years and seeing teens get the same results in 2 is so frustrating. Like good for you kids that have the creators you have today but damn I wish I had this much earlier

No society primarily eats fruit or ever ate fruit. Please provide data. Facts are facts, fats are good for you unlike what we’ve been taught. I live in tropical Jamaica and it would still be hard to live on only fruits and you’d probably get diabetes. Meats is for humans it’s facts. And after ALL those fancy graphics and talk you still come to no conclusion just to buy your book, pshhh. You just don’t want to commit is all so you can switch on the fly when convenient

Carnivores don’t convert to vegan or anything else. They’re the atheists of diets. It’s impossible to go back once you know. All else is fad

I'm 42 years old and have been in a wheelchair for 10 years. Recently I've been able to start working out and I've started eating better and I'm learning that there seems to be a lot more fakes and bad advice than there is legit stuff. I'm pretty good at spotting a steroided body but I fell for supplement advertisements and almost bought into a diet plan that probably wasn't legit. I'm learning now that I need to Google reviews on any product I'm considering buying and that if something looks too good to be true it absolutely is. I normally try to maintain a very positive attitude and I don't like being skeptical but I'm learning that it's important to separate the real from the unreal. It sucks because when you're starting you just don't know what you don't know.

Ps. Calories mean nothing, what you put in your, when you put it in your body does. Any calorie tracking is just another version of starvation and it will work temporarily but eventually your hormones will always want to rebound- trust me I know ….

Let me just say - as a guy from a diabetic family was was obese for a long time, but just ran half marathon with the same wast size I had at 13, many diabetics can be healed - or mitigated to almost nothing - talk to a keto or holistic medical doctor - but if you stop do some interval fasting and stop eating refined sugar and processed foods amazing things will happen to your body naturally

I lost a lot of weight after starting a daily jogging & gym routine in October 2022, and since then I've gone from around 30% body fat to around 14 or 16% right now. The only reason why I am in a good place right now has much to do with the opportune circumstances that allowed me to pull off this 1.5 year body decomposition - I've been in a grad school program as a full-time student, the city I'm in has a vibrant running culture, and being an international student means the gym is one of the best places for me to get a sense of community sometimes. *I mention all of this because these conditions aren't realistic for everyone* , and yet, if my friends see a post from me on their feeds and notice how I've gotten substantially more fit, they won't know how I have this unfair surplus time advantage over them. Because of this advantage, I can essentially train like a professional athlete. I can go to the gym way more than them, and the sheer volume of potential sets per week = I can focus on lifting for reps instead of weight (counter to best practices), and generally have easy-going gym sessions. Contrast this with ordinary folks with jobs and families, who might only have like 2 or 3 days of potential gym days per week. They always have to lift heavy if they want any chance to grow muscle, and this not only exposes them to more injury risk, but it also makes it more likely that they'll give up eventually because their 3 days of possible gym sessions stuffs all their PPL sets into a very condensed period of time. This surplus time thing also applies to fitness influencers - They have virtually 24/7 to focus on their physiques, and since their income is totally dependent on how they look, it's extremely easy for them to eat lean diets - Contrast this with ordinary folks who don't have all the time in the world to focus on their physiques. Sticking to healthy diets isn't easy for ordinary folks because it's 100% a willpower / optional thing for them: Their office job or retail job won't be threatened if they stop eating salads, but it will for the influencer. People have daily stress, or super crazy life situations happening; in those cases, it's hard for them to avoid comfort food. I totally understand. All of this was to say that people need to adjust their expectations according to their existing burdens in life - Realize that you might be already doing a lot in other areas. But please do not look at fitness influencers as some achievable standard that all people can easily attain. You will only feel unreasonably disappointed with yourself, without realizing the unrealistic time it takes to get where they are. Remember that being fit is not about looking good, but simply, being able to move well through the world - Hold onto that principle and train for functionality, not aesthetics.

All gyms should so no to cameras and tri-pods, most don't allow gym bags on the floor because of the dangers of people tripping over them, well people doing other tripping over camera crap, same thing, dangerous and you're basically just a twat.
