You can tell shes lying. 2 reasons. When she noticed she answered the question wrong about weather her sister ever came to her with advice as far as illness and she said NO. Her immediate reaction was to correct herself but she stopped. She knew at that point she had just said her sister would have never come to her therefor she wouldn't know if they were ever injured.. Then this whole time shes looking up until asked if she ever saw the child with black n blue eyes. She says no and IMMEDIATELY looks down. Thats a huge sign of deceit.

Girl... the excuses/flat out lies that have been created during this trial in attempts to explain away the injuries these girls had... makes me sick!!! I wish I could think of the exact words that Mull used in her closing statements when she described the bed by comparing it to a pool!?! I was totally blown away... like you have to be kidding me here!?! The way she said it only helped to prove that her clients were negligent though, so it's fine with me!!! For one, the way it was worded made it sound like all parents should take their kids beds away because it was the beds fault that it could be jumped on, and that could result in harm to kids!?! But she proved negligence one way or the other because if those sever injuries had truly happened from "jumping on the bed" and the Rosenbaums just let it happen continuously, multiple times a day, then they weren't watching the kids or trying to keep them safe anyways... so that was just plain dumb on her part!!! If this case wasn't so overly tragic, her defense points would be laughable!!! I have 3 children of my own, and kids will be kids at times. They do play rough at times, they even accidentally hurt one another from time to time. Not only do I have my own kids, I know tons of other people with kids too... and NEVER have I ever known any child to have extensive injuries like the ones that these precious babies continually had!!! And let's just be real for a moment here... at the time of these events, these girls were 2 & 4 years old!!! How rough could they possibly be at that age to end up with such severe injuries??? Sorry, but this defense attorney is horrible at her job. This story she is trying to sell is about as successful as trying to sell bikinis to women living in igloos... anyone that is falling for her BS is not very smart. And anyone that heard the ME's testimony that can still found any doubt about the real truth is just a sick individual themselves!!! Her professional findings do not lie. Yes, kids have accidents, and yes, kids get hurt sometimes, BUT... kids do not have injuries to this extent on a regular basis, nor do the injuries they have already have just so happen to recur in the same places over and over again unless it is on purpose!!! Awful funny that these kids were just fine physically until they landed with the Rosenbaums!?! No one can convince me that they all the sudden had a 4 month streak of horrible luck that resulted in constant pain and then eventually ended in death!!! I think it is disgusting that she would attempt to blame Laila's death on life saving measures!?! What kind of cruel irony is that!?! Or to even blame the kids for the harm on each other/to themselves. I truly hope the jury members paid close attention to the ME if nothing else. All those injuries that the defense blames on life saving measures didn't even happen in that moment, so it isn't even possible. I think the abuse started off slower than it ended. I would say the last couple of weeks of Laila's life are when it got the worst. By the description that the ME gave, it seems like the ending bruises were horrid and noticeable. They probably did things that could be kept hid for the most part in the beginning. But it seems to have gotten to a point that she didn't care what could be seen. By that time, she had shown them off to the world to present herself as some kind of wonderful person for taking them on. Once she showed them off enough, she quit taking them out, and the violence increased. I hate wondering if even Laila's death was maybe a purposeful ploy for sympathy from others!?! Another way to increase attentions/affections towards her??? As in, "oh poor Rosenbaums... took these kids in when they didn't have to, and now one choked and died"!?! Some people are that sick in the head, and it seems like Jennifer could be that exact type.

Wow...just wow!!! This whole time I thought the ladder was on a playhouse or from the bunk beds or something like that. Who lets a child play on an extension ladder?! Let alone, leave it up for 4 YEARS 😳. First this gal says Jennifer is always on top of the children never leaving them unattended. Then...boom...a 2 and 4 year old are falling off said ladder which should have been off limits. If the this ‘mother’ was as attentive as the butcher, baker and candlestick says...ya’ll know the rest... I’m sure the jury is having difficulties not passing judgment until all the evidence is in. My prediction...maybe 30m until the jury reaches a verdict. This case is making me sick to my stomach. If any good comes from this...maybe those in a position to hand out favors to buck the system think twice the next time. Placing a child is a tad more critical than fixing a parking ticket. That ADA that pushed the paperwork through should be held to the fire!!! Hope this is keeping her up at night 😡

I sure hope that this over eater can be forgiven for giving a False Testimony just to try and save her sister from going to jail for being a perfect child abuser ! What does giving false testimony mean? A crime that occurs when an individual willfully makes a false statement during a judicial proceeding, after he or she has taken an oath to speak the truth. “Thou shalt not bear false witness” forbids: “1. Speaking falsely in any matter, lying, equivocating, and any way devising and designing to deceive our Neighbor. Lock Her Up !!!

That’s a huge ladder! My son is 5, and he doesn’t play outside on his own yet. He would NEVER be playing on an 8-10 ft ladder. Does the defense really believe that is useful for them? Unbelievable. This was a 4, and 2 year old. What business do they have playing unsupervised with access to adult tools??? This adult woman watched this child climbing the ladder, and did nothing about it?

The jury will sit quietly for 45 minutes and then give their verdict. Between the case put on and this dreadful defense attorney they will be found guilty. I came into this with an open mind because stranger things have happened but this is not that. On a side note this is not the same DNA on these two women 😂

She stated she was adopted at 10 days old and Jennifer was born after her. She said Jennifer found her on Facebook. There must be another sister because there was a witness for Jennifer earlier who said she worked for DFAS back when Jennifer and her sister were in foster care she would facilitate visitation between the two girls? Wonder why that sister isn’t testifying?
@kimmyceeisme
@kimmyceeisme 5 жыл бұрын
Tonya Renee You don’t exactly have the option to say say “Hey I want to be a witness!” That sister may not have had any interactions with the girls or conversations with Jennifer about the girls. The sister and Jennifer may have even lost contact or split between foster homes and lost contact. Who knows?
@myaccount5362

Kimmy Cee aren’t you glad this is over and the defendants are finally going to be held accountable for their actions! Oh, and yes you can volunteer to witness, just as Jennifer’s other sister did, the one I was speaking about above. It was a few witnesses after this sister. I feel like you may have misunderstood the direction of my question. Since this sister had just meet Jennifer latter in life and the other sister not only had known each other growing up had more of a relationship as testified to by their social worker. That point is mute now though isn’t it because both the other sister testified and the jury found Jennifer and Joseph guilty!

What idiot leaves a ladder up against a tree for "at least four years" especially with toddlers in the house? Also, first sister is on bed rest after being hospitalized for pregnancy complications yet is outside greeting people coming to her baby shower. Then she drives over to drop off presents for child and later days visits sister for their "finding each other anniversary" Story doesn't stick to the same "facts"

These kind of tragedies prove that we should not let just anyone become a mother; omg, what’s happening to our children? Killed by their parents or just having kids when you can’t take care of the previous child should NOT be allowed to have more until they prove they can take care of the children they have. I’ve never seen such stupidity. These people shouldn’t be allowed an animal, let alone a child. Both sides.

How tf does a 2 year old climb a ladder of that size?? I’m not a mother but my dads a roofer and I’ve climbed many ladders. The rungs are almost 10-14” apart. She’s a toddler. It’s difficult and you have to carefully coordinate your arms and legs to climb high enough to fall to sustain those injuries. Thoughts from moms??

What I am gathering from this case is that Jennifer Rosenbaum had some animosity related to her own upbringing. That doesn't excuse her horrible actions, but I do feel like she was trying to take out her anger about her own childhood. Maybe she didn't have a great experience in her own foster family(ies) and this was her way of "getting back at the system". Like I said, none of this excuses her horrible actions. She needs to be six feet under the prison in my opinion!
