The principal from Scream 1 was killed off because it would serve as a distraction for when everything went on. The police aren’t gonna be worried about Sidney and them when they’re busy dealing with a body already. Not to mention it was as a way to get rid of the extra partygoers for the final act with Sidney, Randy, Billy, and Stu.

another clue that it's amber in the first tara attack is that she runs away when there is a cop....just like how she ran away from the gunshots at her from dewey at the hospital...she has a way of getting away from police at the last second

When you think about this atuff instead of a decent film. Scream 7 needs to focus on the right stuff like characters, plot and script.

2 getting such high placement for mystery and killer reveal seems unfair given how little screen time Mickey/Nancy get and that the viewers have no way of knowing who Nancy is beyond her Debbie alias. It feels like cheating and is far less impressive to me than pulling off a killer reveal of a character who’s been present and central throughout the film like Billy/Stu/Jill. Jill in particular completely blindsided me in the cinema and that’s a lot more impressive to me than if the killer had been like…a briefly seen hospital orderly who’s secretly Stu’s cousin. It’s much more work on the writer’s part and lets you go back through looking for clues in a way that feels fair. 2 should’ve been bottom of the pack for mystery, maybe fifth place before 6.

Thank you for bringing up the plot hole of these people being the killer. I was very upset at the reveal bc I did in fact feel cheated and you just explained it. Quinn being the killer after they tried to do everything to make us believe she’s dead including acting like she had no idea ghostface was there but supposedly being the phone and same thing with Ethan saving Mindy and supposedly being in study hall. The ONLY ghostface that makes sense LOGICALLY is Detective bailey

In the 5th, so many people had been confused with the whole Billy storyline, thinking he's portrayed as a ghost or someone with redeeming qualities. I liked the idea that she was taking medication because she was having hallucinations of her father, and the pills started to ware off where it wasn't working anymore. (My guess is Richie tampered with them). That was her dealing with the fact that he is her father and was afraid of turning into him, and that carried into Scream 6. But in order for her to go into survival mode both times, she had to accept of being his daughter and let that in instead of burying it. We were watching her dealing with her mental health and demons. They could have done a lot with it in Scream 7, where she could still use that part of her to survive, OR it can make her snap into becoming like her father. It's kind of like how different killers have tried to make Sidney snap mentally due to past trauma (Mickey and Roman), but she always overcame it instead (going to college doing theater, working at a women's crisis hotline helping other women, writing a book about overcoming the darkness of trauma to inspire othersthat they can overcome their darkness, and then creating a family of her own with Mark Kincaid). So they could have taken it in the opposite direction for Sam as the main final girl and actually make her snap mentally and become a killer herself. It would have been cool to see the new generation final girl end up losing the battle to her demons and have a psychotic break and become a killer. But I think for that to happen to her, I think Tara would have to be killed. Because Tara was the one that kept her somewhat grounded. Anytime she zoned out during a hallucination with Billy or looking at the mask at the end of the movie, it was Tara calling out for her that snapped her back to reality. Billy, as a hallucination, was a good call back to the first Scream when he told Sidney, "It's like Jodie Foster in The Silence of the Lambs, when she keeps having flashbacks of her dead father".

The reason so many still hold out hope for Stu to come back (I'm one of the guilty ones) is because Kevin Williamson had that as his original trilogy with Stu surviving (never got shot in the head) where he organized a cult from prison to go after her. The ONLY reason it got scrapped was because of the Columbine massacre and his storyline hit close to home to the actual tragedy. The massacre happened literally right before the production started for the 3rd. But because Kevin was busy writing for Dawson's Creek, he didn't have time to write a whole new script, so they had to bring in a new writer at the last minute. - The ONLY way I can see it work if they bring back Stu is it HAS to be the final movie of the franchise, and Neve Campbell HAS to be in it if they bring back Matthew Lillard. Going back to the very beginning where it all started with THE OG final girl and THE OG ghostface to finish it once and for all with the final showdown with the remaining survivors 💜😍 Also, I would love a scene with Sidney, Chad and Mindy with her sharing good memories with them about their uncle Randy 💜

So many people hated the voice changer because of it being unbelievable.. I loved it. I thought it was clever. Roman was a music video and movie DIRECTOR IN HOLLYWOOD. He could have easily gotten it from somewhere in the industry OR could have paid some tech genius to make him a personalized voice changer. Then, with collecting the voices to be able to use. Cotton had his own tv show, Gale is a tv reporter, Dewey worked onset with him, He probably looked into the stuff that Maureen (Rina Reynolds) was in to get hers, and then recorded Sidneys voice from the first time he called her when he used her mothers voice. It was one of the smartest plays on here. It really made you think.. are you really talking to that person, or is it ghostface masking behind their voices. Like when Roman called Sarah, it was like hiding in plain sight. We didn't know if it actually was him or someone else. He used Sidneys voice to lure Dewey and Gale to the mansion. So he could turn around to use them as bait to lure Sidney to him away from the cops. I knew right away it wasn't actually Sid. The caller, when talking to Dewey the caller mentioned being protected by the LAPD at the end of it the caller had like a little chuckle when talking about the cops. Then the caller cut Dewey off and hung up on him. Sidney would never do that to Dewey.

I love the whole scene between Roman and Sidney. You can really feel that sibling vibe with the arguing back and forth and the fighting. One of the things that I LOVE about Sidney is she doesn't care who you are she's not afraid to talk shit back to them and can be savage lol (except for Randy he did that and got killed for shit talking on Billy with Ms. Loomis). She is mostly the one who doesn't beg for her life and actually fights back with balls (well, Gale and Dewey did a little bit in the 3rd, 5th, and 6th). The ending, though between Roman and Sidney, when they held each other's hand that right there is my all-time favorite moment between a hero/vilian, it felt so bittersweet between them both. Like you can see, she feels for him cause he was rejected by their mother, but at the same time, it's about survival and doing what she has to do to survive. For him it's he always wanted a family but got rejected by his birth mother, and then the jealousy took over. Also, it didn't help with it being his 30th birthday and became a trigger that made him snap and went after Sidney. - The original plan was Roman was just going to be the puppet master staying behind the curtain kind of thing and set it up to where Billy and his accomplice which ended up being Stu to ONLY go after Maureen Prescott. But after they killed her, they got a taste for it, and them two decided to continue on for themselves with Sidney and their peers a year later. Scream 2 was a domino effect. It was just about revenge for Ms. Loomis and just hired Mickey as her lackey. Then Scream 3, it coming into his 30th birthday a reminder of being abandoned by his own mom and directing a movie about Sidneys life, it was Iike a mental trigger for him. He ended up going after her due to the jealousy of their mom only wanting Sidney and wanting nothing to do with him. Maureen even tried to convince him that his mom, "Rina Reynolds," was dead, so it struck a nerve, and that's exactly what he did. ( Roman : And once I supplied the motivation... all the kid needed was a few pointers. Have a partner to sell out in case he got caught (Stu), find someone to frame (Cotton) (tried setting up Neil Prescott), it was like he was making a movie. Sidney : You... this is all because of you. Roman : I'm a director, Sid, I direct. Sidney : Ah. Roman : I had no idea that they were gonna make a film of their own (Billy and Stu creating the image of Ghostface and creating the phone game on their own to continue on with their killings). I mean, intoducing Sidney the victim, Sidney the survivor, SIDNEY THE STAR! )
