I agree that the USA could use this aircraft in the future.

I liked that the OV-10 Bronco could carry people in or out.

I was always fascinated by the Bronco. Small, agile, armed, it just sounds like a down and dirty wild ride!

Never worked on or flew an OV-10, but as a flight sim enthusiast, the OV-10 has always been one of my favorite aircraft. Its striking appearance first attracted me, but the performance of the craft in simulation kept me coming back for more.

In the title of the video, "Why Canada has chosen the F-35", there is a reason for that, which you already know without watching the video. When the Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II is in the air forces of many countries, for example we in Finland have the Hornets and after them the first 2 F-35A Lightning IIs will arrive next year 2025, this plane is so good in its performance and with other features it is classified as the best fighter in the world.

A HS friend of mine was a back seater in one in the first Gulf War. His plane was shot down over Kuwait City in January 1991. I talked to him a few months before deployment at our 10 year reunion. I think the pilot made it but he didn't. RIP Dave.

I thought the NGAD program was specifically designed to split up the design from the production base. So that the company awarded the contract for the design of the aircraft wouldn't be the supplier of the aircraft to the USAF?

While stationed at Ubon Thailand in 1971 I decided to spend my day off at NKP, just to check out the arrivals and departures. Besides the always impressive Caribou, one hotshot OV-10 pilot did a fast downwind, then with wings almost vertical turned base and final over the end of the runway, hit the deck and stopped on a dime. It was the best carrier landing I've ever seen.

I built a 1/72 scale Bronco way back in 1975. I think it was a Revell model.

It seems like the designers of the B21 have air to air combat in mind as well. I mean obviously the B21 is not a fighter and isn’t looking for that kind of fight. but its smaller profile and potential to carry air to air missiles makes me think that it could hold its ground if needed.

SATD, NATC - NAS Patuxent River, MD... the OV-10 aircraft had the FLIRS and the swivel mounted rotary gun that was aimed by the pilot's helmet mounted sensor. I served at the test directorate from 1976 to 1979, aviation structures and hydraulics mechanic specialized in the A-6/EA-6 Intruder and Prowler systems.

Beautiful plane, the little Swiss Army knife aircraft! Could do practically anything, easy maintenance, weapons carrier to ambulance, yes it should be brought back& used again. Just like the A-10, could always find a use for it.

I have pictures from the 14th TRS from Udorn being taken (happy snaps) of a Bronco from above. 1969 Unfortunately the Bronco decided to ascend (you can see the "WTF!" look on the pilots face just before bouncing into the RF4 and subsequently crash landing) and (they were ok but very unhappy) as the rival recce sq. 11th TRS we flew the "post strike" mission and when we got the pics, marked it as the only "confirmed Kill" by A reconnaissance plane in the Vietnam War of an OV-10 Bronco, blew it up to poster size and sent it to the commander of the 14th TRS He was not amused
