It's the hardest yet simplest solution to a lagging body part: lower the weight, focus on form. It's so simple yet your ego will do anything to stop you from doing so.

My coach always says “do you want to just be strong or do you want to be strong and look like a bodybuilder” and it changed my whole philosophy on lifting and the physique followed

I agree with this. I've been doing incline presses and dumbbell incline presses and flies.

Also overhead presses on machines that have a little incline.

I was having a chest issue started hitting it (incline dumbells) everyday moderate weight for 2 months and good things started happening

I watched Hany Rambod train a natty kid on chest day using incline dumbbell press as the main push. I started doing this (as well as incline dumbbell fly) and after 4 months of consistency I can finally see fibers up top moving when I flex now. Just barely got up to the 100s 😅. I'll get there 😁💪. I also prefer dumbbells to avoid developing any imbalances that many get when using a barbell.

This advice only applies to dudes like Iain who already have so much muscle, it’s almost impossible to create 5% more. This guy is among the top 10 biggest, freakiest bodybuilders on the planet. If you’re a normal person, and especially Natty, you do in fact need to be focusing on getting stronger, pushing as much weight as you can with moderately decent form, in the 4-8 rep range. If you don’t have a ton of muscle, you’re not going to build it with light weight, high volume, and ‘mind muscle connection’. Sorry to burst everyone’s bubble looking for excuses to not lift heavy weight.

People like u fail to realise u dont need to have sloppy form to lift heavy. Yes u might have to leave the ego at the door and drop the weight a bit to use proper form when lifting

I kinda lean towards your way. A lot of the old school bodybuilding training,I'm reading about always seems to revert back too heavy weights 3-6 reps. Even 5.

You’re also forgetting that you have to eat gym is only 10% of what you got to do as a bodybuilder you would think he would’ve had that in there 🤦🏽‍♂️

Dude it’s like a :45 second clip. You want him to address all the factors that go into bodybuilding in 45 seconds? EVERYONE knows what you eat is important (and it’s not 90% of bodybuilding lol). There are many factors, this short is about lifting style.

@@zalapski9399 it’s obviously you’re not that intelligent I’m not going to address the whole video because he didn’t put the whole video up. I’m going to address the clip. In the clip clearly shows that he only addressed one thing. 🤦🏽‍♂️ so next time if you going to try to use some intelligence 😂 how about you stick to the issue, the issue was the 45 seconds clip not the whole damn video.
