As for the camp chair I'm all for it. I don't walk as much as you anymore what with my bad knees, back, and I'm 76. But I have an inexpensive Trekology chair which is pretty light. Easy to carry, and relatively stable. Makes life out there sooooo much easier. St Louis, MO. U. S. A.

I bought a helinox chair 1. It's twice the price, but half the weight of cheaper versions. & believe it or not, I have actually fallen asleep in a few times, it's very good. The smaller ones such as chair zero, or ground chair, are lower & will probably fit under a tarp
@northumberlandmountainhopper
@northumberlandmountainhopper Сағат бұрын
Hi and thanks for watching, the zero chair is lightest less than 500 but £134 !!! Then you need the ground pad £30 I will have to think lol I have a dd stool at 310 grams But I am thinking a chair is the way Cheers Adrian

typically I watch your vids all the way through. I find your chats relaxing and you use the tarp bivi combo which is my fav. I'd love one of those hooped carinithia bivi's but cost to much for my liking. one day I might get a good second hand one. add to my collection of bivi's. mostly mid range price wise. a bunch of different tarps as well.

Hi and thanks for watching, as you know you can’t beat a tarp and bivy, I feel the carinthia ones are a touch expensive and too heavy, I may even get the Alpkit Hunka out not so good but lighter as I will need for the ridge walk I plan Cheers Adrian

Cracking camp as always Adrian, at one time, I could have got to the places you do, but thanks to illness, that buggered things, but I'll definitely be back up there, just lower down than you lol, the views take the breath away for sure, you need a golok for that undergrowth lol, bloody hell 😀, least with the hooped bivvy, even if it's light out, I just turn over and sleep, inside the hooped bit etc, it's still relatively dark ,thanks to the material, not sure if you find that or not, need to setup a appreciation group up for dutch hooped bivvy lol, good health and safe travels my friend, cheers craig

I’ve long since thought the Soto Windmaster by far the best gas stove for wild camping. I’ve never used a windshield. BUT who needs speed when the one thing you’ve got on a wild camp is time. Still nice try Adrian.

Another cracking day out Adrian. Totally agree that a spot is so much better when you are completely secluded from people. Not an easy climb but always worth the effort and no path means no people... ha, and then you found a road 😆Quality set up as always and you kept your view. Yes it's been surprisingly cold for June I had a camp up north last week and it was feel like temps of 6! crazy stuff. You definitely look better in the morning than I do hahaha Lovely camp all in all 👍
