What I do is I make a very simply tomato sauce. It's my base. To my bolognese, to my chilli con carne, to my bath water.

Hi! Can`t recognize this tasty meat as Beef Stroganoff. The thing is how to slice the meat. The meat sliced 0.5 centimeters thin across meat fibres (this is essential), making the 3-5 centimeters pieces and 0.5 centimeters in diameter . That is how most of the Russians tend to cook this. We need this to speed up cooking + to make meat as soft as possible (in Russia most of the beaf meat is very tough and hard to chew, we don`t have black angus here) , this way you don`t need the knife, while eating. The meat is so soft so you can easily distribute it to smaller pieces using tongue only, while chewing. What I`ve seen is just the different meal. Tasty. With awesome sauce. I`m scared to write this, I`m not trying to blame at all. Just sharing the experience from the location where Beef Stroganoff is the one of the most default meal starting from kinder gardens, schools (no mushrooms version) and bistros to top level restaurants - everywhere the meat will cut as mentioned earlier. Buckwheat porridge + Beef Stroganoff, spoon only, no knives, no forks.

I did actually make this as shown (and made it quite a few times afterwards too) but leaving out the optional cream. I personally think it was delicious and so easy to make a really tasty wholesome meal. In fact it is the best tasting parsley sauce I have ever had. The only problem I have now is trying to buy the knorr fish stockpots. They are increasing difficult to buy in the supermarkets, other knorr flavours are easy to get apart from the fish.
