Larian has a pattern of adding Lovecraftian elements to their games. I expect that will show heavily in their new sci-fi game.

The number one concern about this game is the performance. Case in point, The Outter World. To date that game still has terrible performance left unresolved by the devs. Considering the fact that most UE 5 games run like crap at release, I’m not touching this with a 6 month post release pole.

Unless the romance scenes are like Treasure of Nardia I’m going to be very disappointed.

Notice that out of all of the origin's Minsc is the one they cut. Notice that the heterosexual white male's origin is the one they chose to cut. Note how he also doesn't show up until the game is almost over. I'm not playing this game until they put the Minsc origin back in, even if that means I never play it.

Maybe they bought the rights to Lexx.
