Yes, Ray Gardiner's list says it came from Madukismo to Trangkil in 1962.

Wow it's so amazing, Mr. Dickinson. It was 1-2 years before I was born in the world. And now, I know gold memories about tracks inside PG Tasikmadu before almost all of the tracks were closed by asphalt. Anyway, I live near the sugar mill, in Desa Buran. When I was in 1st grade in elementary school, I watched the action of all steam locomotives there. It's also good memories...

Happy to hear this. Once the lines to the fields were closed, I still brought friends to the mill and would sit and watch the world go by in the small 'warung' outside where the trains would go in. The part starting at 03:00 was shot just outside it.

Saya pernah kerja disini dari tahun 2006 sampai 2017 distasuin gilingan yang mengoperasikan mesin uap 2&3 dan juga sebagai teknisi, Sungguh sebuah pengalaman hidup yang berharga❤❤❤sayangnya distop operasionalnya oleh pemerintah pusat😢😢😢

It was a political decision to keep an old mill going when it was uneconomic, it provided much needed jobs for local people. And a political decision to close it too.

I believe it was in 2006 or thereabouts. I had previously taken still pictures here in 2002.

Sejak kapan pabrik ini berhenti operasional.sangat di sayang kan.ini adalah warisan nenek moyang kita di zaman kolonial Belanda.saya lihat dr vidio anda memang kurang perawatan dan kebersihan dr pabrik.kalo melihat dr mesin mesin uap Nya masih banyak menggunakn main steam engine.banyak juga menggunakan transfer AS dengan satu penggerak motor atau steam piston uap.sangat di sayangkan jika pabrik ini tidak di rawat dan di perbaiki.dari segi keamanan oara pekerja dan kebersihan lingkungan kerja masih sangat minim dr kata Bagus

I haven't been back to Java since 2010, but this mill and many others like it have since closed. They have all outlived their usefulness, and frankly, it's a miracle they lasted as long as they did. It was my privilege to see them as the last bastion of the industrial revolution.

My records say that it was a maximum of 1600 tonnes of cane per day in the early 2000s. Towards the end it would have been rather less.
