No Elon, public relations can help space exploration a lot. Werner vonBraun was very enthusiastic and he brought that onto TV. He brought the majority of tax payers to accept this ultra expensive endavour to the Moon. And after his Moon rocket worked, NASA pushed him into a desk job in Washington, where he didn't have the time any more for the _public_ _relations._ We all know how NASA declined since then. Werner vonBraun not only spoke on TV; it was him who had to deal with congress for budget. But not after he was pushed into a job that he was never made for. Shortly after, he left NASA for commercial space flight, and his Moon rocket, the best rocket NASA ever had, was canceled. The older Atlas and Titan are still in use. But this is already a different story. If you examine the relations between NASA and vonBraun, you can see very well how important strong public relations are. 🚀🏴‍☠️🎸
