PSA: consuming infused oils for up to 3 weeks after is risky and while you'll probably be ok, the actual USDA recommendation for refrigerated infused oils is that they should be consumed within a week due to risk of botulism. The low-acid, oxygen-free environment of oil favors the growth of botulism spores and other bacteria introduced by garlic/onion/herb basically any plant matter. Botulism spores are tough and can survive much higher temps than the <1hr of low-heat simmering these recipes call for. Consume at your own risk folks. It requires literally 2 minutes of effort so I would strongly suggest to just make a fresh batch every week.

That’s great! I think I was 8 years into having pretty severe digestive issues when I found the low FODMAP diet. While I know it can be difficult to change your diet, it’s so worth it. My life has completely changed since doing so, and I would not have the beautiful life I do had I not went through the effort to figure out my triggers and eliminate certain foods from my diet altogether. Well worth the sacrifice imo. Try focusing on what you stand to gain rather than the sacrifice or effort that is required. I’m so glad you found my channel and I wish you the best of luck on your digestive journey!❤️

Did you watch the video? Yes, the diet is perfect for you if you're gluten free. It might be worth looking into Ken Berry, Anthony Chaffee and the carnivore diet as well as fasting. Anyway, watch this video multiple times so you understand everything. Good luck!

I dealt with chronic pain/fibromyalgia for nearly a decade - I feel for you. I didn’t think that changing my diet would affect my pain levels that much, I was mostly just trying to deal with my digestive issues, but it did! It was miraculous! It turns out that my pain and Fibro was caused by undiagnosed food allergies. Once I figured out what they were and eliminated them, the pain went away. I’ve been completely off all meds and pain free for 7 years!! I really hope you try this diet/my recipes - you have so much to gain and they are all gluten free!!

IMO the problem with Abby is that she is so focused on "not being restrictive" that she often just won't straight up tell people when there is something they should really cut out of their diet. Sometimes foods are really terrible for you and you have to give that shit up. But she is so focused on unhealthy restriction it's like she can't really address when restriction is a positive.

@gritandgroceries4 күн бұрын
Oh no! When that happened to me it was because I wasn’t producing enough acid and bile to breakdown my food very well (from years of taking antacids) and my intestines were so inflamed that couldn’t absorb what I was breaking down. It turned out that I had undiagnosed food allergies that was causing the inflammation - mostly garlic. Once I removed it from my diet, my weight stabilized. I don’t know if this is the case with you, but it’s something you might want to explore especially if you have undigested matter in your stool regularly. Gross, I know, sorry. I’m really hoping sharing this helps you. Best of luck.🙏🏻

That’s great! I never went full carnivore but I would eat just meat for some meals when my gastritis flared up. I found that eliminating the fiber that was hard to digest was really helpful for me. I don’t really eat sugar, I never had much of a sweet tooth, but I know doing so would really help to improve the composition of your microbiome.

@gritandgroceriesАй бұрын
I’ve said this many times - the low FODMAP diet is all about serving sizes and you can have 1 low FODMAP serving of a high FODMAP food per meal - for avocado that would be 1 tablespoon. However, since I have gone through the reintroduction phase of this diet, I know that avocados do not trigger ibs symptoms for me, which is why I feel comfortable eating 1/2 a small avo in one sitting.

While I do like to employ fasting periodically to activate the body’s healing mechanisms, I don’t think it will get your bowels moving. Here are a few things you can try: 1. 32oz of water with the juice of 1 whole lemon and 1 tsp of salt (preferably natural mineral salt like Celtic salt but pink Himalayan salt will work too) 2. Add 1 tbsp of chia seeds to 8oz water and shake until it gels. 3. Try a powdered magnesium citrate supplement like Calm. amzn.to/3V5iaDu Also try to walk outdoors for at least 30 mins per day. Hope that’s helpful. Good luck.❤️

In the reintroduction phase, do you recommend starting with foods we believe to be our triggers first or the foods we believe to be safe foods first? Or, does it really matter?
@gritandgroceriesАй бұрын
Hello. Congrats on making it to the reintroduction phase! It doesn’t really matter which foods you introduce first. I would say go for the foods you think are your triggers first just to get it out of the way, and then let’s say you have a reaction, you could then test a food you think is safe the next week just to give yourself a break. Best of luck and hang in there, I know how tough it is to purposely cause yourself symptoms after your finally feeling well, but you seem determined to just get through it and that’s great!😃

I’ve tried different diets and nothing has worked. I don’t know what fodmap is I did keto for a long time trying to lose weight. I went from 198 to 156. I feel OK at my weight but I want to lose more. This diet scares me because I don’t eat starch. I don’t wanna gain weight and that I kind of makes me gain, I have been doing carnivore a little meals a day lunch and dinner. My lunch is usually around one or two and then I stop eating at about 7 o’clock. Maybe I don’t eat vegetables bread pasta if it’s not carnivore again if I eat bread or potatoes at least a pound, my Gastro doctor seems to think that I have IBS because we did a colonoscopy and a endoscopy and everything came out good TMI I have diarrhea every day for the last three years doesn’t matter what I eat. I’m scared to go anywhere far because I’m afraid I’ll have an accident, I’m desperate and I need to find something that will help me. Thank you for being there.
@gritandgroceriesАй бұрын
Ooooo that’s sucks. I’m so sorry, I’ve been there. It could be a FODMAP issue causing the diarrhea and this diet could help. First of all I want to say that this is not a weight loss diet but that doesn’t mean you can’t lose weight on it. You also don’t have to eat starch. Since you’re only eating animal protein and veg, you could be eating too many vegetables that are high FODMAP which is could be causing the loose stools. Watch my low FODMAP diet explained video for more details on how that happens. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bJaRaZNp3sC6ZGg.htmlsi=NlCkqTXn-GYucfj1 I also don’t have anything agains carnivore if that’s working for you. Lastly, I would recommend mixing 1 tbsp on chia seeds with 8oz of water and shake it until it gels up. Try drinking that daily and see if it helps to bulk up your stool. I hope that helps. Best of luck to you on your digestive journey!❤️
