10:47 10 months old i am making this post. I think maybe after a few driver updates the Arc might be able to do a bit better at games like these. By time AMD got to 6600 XT, they were very advanced in their graphics development so the chip would be able to process games like this. Maybe the next Arc release they will start to really challenge AMD & Nvidia.

Arc has indeed improved quite a bit since making this video. I am actively looking for another A750 to make a follow-up video. But even so, your point is a good one. Intel's first attempt at a dGPU was very decent. It even beats the AMD GPUs in most RT titles as well as have a superior upscaling method that gets better and better. The only thing holding Intel back is driver issues. But those are also being improved massively as time goes on.

There is no way you are getting that without using AFMF or FSR 3 Frame Generation. Using just FSR 3 Frame Generation it is possible to get around 130 fps, depending on settings, and then enabling AFMF alongside frame generation can get you to 180 fps. A 14600K CPU is good for around 90-100 fps in this game in this area, meaning even if I use a 4090 at 1080p, the highest FPS will be around 100 fps.

That isn't a bad performance at 4k with a 4070 super given the current state of the game, it's a mess at the moment. Also, I was told that this game uses software level RT for reflections, although I am not sure. I am willing to give this a ago, but honestly the performance is so bad that I believe money spent is not worth it right now. Maybe when it is not in "early access"? We could be optimistic that game would potentially work better. Anyways, even having 4090 turns it down for me seeing these results. Once again great video of testing each settings & preset. Keep it up!

Yeah, I think it'll be playable if it wasnt for all the rubberbanding. The performance is not ideal though. Yeah, it uses Lumen, which is software ray tracing. Not sure if it uses Lumen GI as well, but it would make sense considering the performance.

Hey Man I found 3 models of this gpu online All with slightly higher prices than the other but also with higher frecuences I just wanted to ask someone that could know what that meant (the frecuence) and how it would translate into videogames (I would like to know in a language I would understand like how many more fps I would be getting) and if it is worth it investing more money for the highest frecuency one or just sticking to the lower priced one Zotac GeForce RTX 4060 Twin Edge OC: Boost: 2475 Mhz (5638 MXN (336 USD)) Msi GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus 2X OC: This one doesn't specify it on the official website, but in the store it says: Processor Frecuency: 2505 Boost Frecuency: 2490 (wich I find wierd since boost is lower so idk lololol) (5828 MXN (348 USD)) Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 Gaming OC: Core Clock:2550 Mhz (6397 MXN (381 USD)) But this last one is getting really close to the price of a RX 6750 XT from XFX at (6537 MXN (390 USD)) (wich I think this card is better, I don't really know) I also want to mention that I want to choose the 4060 over a rx 6600 (3818 MXN (227.5 USD)) or the 6650 xt(4687 MXN (280)) only because I want to try Ray Tracing out, and I just got to see your channel because of the video of DLSS 3 and FG so I think nvidia is better, isn't it? I have never had a graphics card, and as someone experienced it would be cool if you could help me choose one. If you tell me Ray Tracing isn't worth it I guess I could just drop to the 6650 xt or if it is maybe even go up to the 4060 ti (7198 MXN (428 USD)) with a couple more months of saving Also I use a 5600g and for now 1 stick of 16 3600mhz ram (that for some stupid reason runs at 1800mhz in game) and I plan to buy a 2nd one soon

Hey bud, a lot of info here so I'll try and simplify it a bit. Higher core clock frequencies mean slightly better performance, but we are talking maybe 1-2 fps here. The difference between the highest and lowest of these is around 100mhz. That's maybe a 4% higher clock speed which would maybe result in 1-2% performance increase. At this point the only difference between the GPUs would be noise and cooling. I owned the Zotac 4060 and it gets loud, so I would suggest the MSI one. Or if a slight noise increase doesnt bother you just go for the cheapest one. With regards to your memory, you have the right idea going for 2 sticks. The memory reads as 1800mhz in some software because it's DDR, so double data rate. You can double that 1800mhz reading to get the actual speed of 3600mhz, so that is not an issue. With regards to ray tracing, it is possible on a 4060, but it does struggle. If you can I would rather go for a 4060 Ti in that case. But the truth is that the lower end GPUs do struggle a bit more with RT. That said, I the 40 series GPUs are VERY power efficient, with the 4060 drawing around 110w. But if you arent going to use RT, the 6700XT or 6750XT would be great choices due to its increased VRAM. 8GB is getting a bit long in the tooth now. Hope this helps!

I always try to reply to friendly comments or questions 😊 The 4060 / 4060 Ti can do some ray tracing, for instance Spider-Man remastered, Ratchet and Clank etc, but you do need to use DLSS Super Resolution, and at 1080p it can be hit or miss. You are probably better of with 1440p, DLSS Balanced and then frame generation, but then the 8GB becomes an issue in modern games. But if you get the 4060 for 1080p gaming you can use native res and then frame generation for a high framerate. I personally like frame gen, and now AMD also supports FG in quite a few titles, so in that regard you cant go wrong with either. The big difference comes with FSR upscaling, where DLSS is quite a bit ahead in terms of image quality. FSR 3.1 is bound to release soon and it's said to improve image quality. So if you can, maybe wait a few weeks and see what FSR 3.1 brings to the table. If it really can get close to DLSS it will make AMD offerings a lot more attractive. Still, the 6750XT is quite a bit faster than the 4060, and has 12GB VRAM, so it remains a very solid choice indeed.
@PKPK-47

@@Mostly_Positive_Reviews I don't have a 1440p monitor at the moment 😅 But if you say 8GB are getting short then Ill trust and save for the 6750 xt as you recommend. But if you think 8gb is fine for 1080 then, is it worth the extra 50 bucks from the 6650 xt to the 4060 for the DLSS? (It's a genuine question, not retorical) You are also saying RT with a good experience can't really be achieved at this price point, and it's totally fine I know it will be a thing in a couple more years, so it's not that much of a disappointment

Hello, really nice video! I have the MSI Gaming X variant of the 1080 Ti and I use the Uniscaler-7 mod by LukeFZ, it lets you use FSR, XeSS, DLSS/DLAA, with the FSR 3 Frame Generation function. I have covered it a few times on my channel (Not trying to do self promotion lol) So you are not locked in to using only FSR for the upscaler, also you can use frame generation (also the other upscaler methods) on games that do not support frame generation too (It does apply the effect to the UI if FG is used, since its usually on the same rendering layer). You can edit & override the in game individual presets of scaling settings such as Ultra/Quality, Balanced & Ultra/performance etc (I use 75% for the Quality scaling over the standard 67% as an example & 85% for Ultra Quality). I've tried the following games and they all work super well: Cyberpunk 2077 (I use FSR since XeSS (even 1.3) tends to struggle with ghosting/smearing with moving particles) Dragon's Dogma 2 (Have to use Reframework, also set scaler as a .dll & into the plugins folder) Dying Light 2 (I use FSR with the 75% scaling Quality setting) Horizon Forbidden West (I use FSR since XeSS (even 1.3) tends to have some ghosting/smearing with moving particles which I find distracting) Red Dead Redemption 2 (Causes UI flickering/artifacting when FG is enabled) Remnant 2 (I use XeSS 1.3 since its sharper and clearer than FSR) The Witcher 3 (I use FSR with the 85% Ultra Quality setting) You can obviously only use it in games that use a newer scaler than example FSR 1.0 & is able to run on DirectX12 I would avoid using it in games that has anti-cheat countermeasures just to be on the safe side. Looking forward to seeing FSR 3.1 since its also too suppose to be open source and a huge improvement over FSR 2.2 and said to be able to run on the Vulkan API. Will defintely be looking forward to see a updated version of it (FSR 3.0 is literally just FSR 2.2 with fluid motion (FG), incase people did not know). EDIT: Forgot to mention Starfield, its such a playable game with the Mod btw.

Unfortunately not everyone can do that, so upscaling and frame gen is a good alternative to spending a lot of money.

I really love this technology. It is not perfect, but gets better with most big Updates. So many GPUs are rescued from early death this way. If someone has huge Problems with the slightly reduced latency or Imagequality, the only solution would be to buy newer and faster Hardware. So i really do not see it as a problem overall. There is a drawback to it but it really depends on the Hardware and Game and Resolution that it is used in and how much budget someone is willing to spend to archieve what one wants. But overall, i think it is great to see older Cards pumping quite impressive results with Upscaling and FG. We even have Xess, which is really nice. Well done Video. I can cheat playing from 60 and 80 fps by triggering fluid motion frames with ray tracing enabled fsr in quality and in ultra graphics at 1440p.
@Mostly_Positive_Reviews
@Mostly_Positive_Reviews 8 күн бұрын
Yeah, AFMF can basically double your FPS. My only issue with AFMF is it dynamically disables during fast movement or big scene changes.
@robertotarangozarazua1366
@robertotarangozarazua1366 8 күн бұрын
@@Mostly_Positive_Reviews But the truth is quite passable to cheat with it because most of the time you will have fluids and the worst that can happen is that you have a dip in a sharp turn to as if FMF is not activated.

Do not set rt lighting. Im on 60fps+ with raytraced reflection and shadow's. You can crank some setting additionally and have very smooth beautiful experience. Never use preset settings, high, low etc.

Yeah, I only use the presets for benchmarking so people can replicate it more easily if they so choose. But it's always best to customize your experience with custom settings.

I see Palworld still has about 90000 CCU on Steam, which is pretty high this far out for an EA game, but I guess time will tell. I hope the devs fix the perfoemance and server issues soon, otherwise GZW will be dying sooner rather than later.

Have you tried FSR 3.0's frame generation for Warzone? One thing I noticed FSR frame generation ignores in-game FPS cap while DLSS frame generation can be capped, which I find very interesting. I have one question, do you think Freesync Premium or Gsync should be disabled while using frame generation? I have RTX 4070 and 7-13700H (laptop) .. This causes me CPU bottleneck that caps me around 100-120 FPS and DLSS frame fgeneration takes me to 200 FPS, but I still suffer stutterlike cpu bottleneck moments and CPU times look higher than GPU. FSR frame generation gives me around 240 FPS, evens clock times to 6MS, no bottleneck, but this sometimes make me jump to 700 MS LATENCY (which im not sure if its my internet tho) I didnt notice any input lag on these settings, but i might not be good at catching them since I play with controller. My monitor has AMD freesync premium, so that was also turned on.

I use G-sync + v-sync in nvidia control panel with frame generation. It really gives the smoothest experience on a 165hz panel. For capping with FSR 3 FG, try capping to half the framerate you want to achieve. This used to be an issue with DLSS FG as well, and still is in some games. So if you want a final output of 120 fps, cap it to 60 fps in game and it should work.

Game looks great but is absolutely broken. I hopped in, flew out for a mission and crashed…lost all my gear 🥴. Loaded back in, used my back up equipment, go out for tasks…immediately got lasered by a bot. Now I have nothing 💀. Not playing this until it’s fully released.

i7-6700, NV1070, 32 GB RAM, SATA SSD - I'm playing it on 1600x1000px on high details, I've intentionally lowered many graphic effects or I've reached a stable 60 fps but failed. Framerate is very unstable, significant fluctuations even when fighting with one character. Uncomfortable and unplayable.

@@Mostly_Positive_Reviews Many, many years ago I played BF 2142 on custom maps with 128 players on a PC setup with single core AMD Athlon64 3000+ @ 1.8 GHz with Nv 7600GT and 2GB RAM ! Today's situation doesn't surprise me of course, UE 4/5 has inflated HW requirements and needs at least a 6 core CPU. Surprisingly NV 1070/8GB is still a solid graphics card.
@Mostly_Positive_Reviews
@Mostly_Positive_Reviews 12 күн бұрын
Yeah indeed, with a semi decent processor the 1070 can still be used in most games, and with the use of FSR and now FSR Frame Generation it extended its lifespan even more! But Nvidia will never make the same mistake as they did with the 10 series. All those GPUs were just so good that people had very little reason to upgrade, unless you want ray tracing.

@@Mostly_Positive_Reviews We are not naive and we know that these companies would like me to buy a new GPU every 18 months. I've always built my PC's "for 10 years", this last one in 2016, my son uses it for gaming now. And 10 years it would have even lasted if Microsoft didn't do crap with CPU requirements for Win11 and ending support for Win10 next year I guess.

Microsoft is one of the biggest culprits when it comes to "planned obsolescence". Why can my 7700K run Windows 10 but not 11? I get the need for additional security, but let me install it anyway, just show a warning at install perhaps. And I think security is a poor excuse anyway because they are now forcing these people to stay on Windows 10, which is supposedly "less secure".

Bro do testers usually disable memory integrity while testing or they keep it on?? Because I have 7800x3d and am facing 10-15% fps loss due to memory integrity turned on.
@Mostly_Positive_Reviews
@Mostly_Positive_Reviews 12 күн бұрын
When I do GPU benchmarks I leave it off as it impacts CPU performance, meaning you can become CPU bound making a GPU benchmark invalid. But on a daily basis I leave it off as well just for a bit of extra performance.
